Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor's cold war goes a long way back. Both actors dated the same girl, Katrina Kaif, which was supposed to be the reason behind their rivalry. However, not many know that Ranbir and Salman had an ugly spat even before the former made his acting debut. But it looks like the duo has let bygones be bygones and has patched up now.
On Eid 2024, Ranbir Kapoor, along with his wife, Alia Bhatt, paid a surprise visit to Salman Khan’s flat at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. While Alia looked stunning in an all-white floral-printed ethnic suit and opted for minimal makeup, Ranbir opted for a blue denim shirt paired with a grey t-shirt and jeans. The power couple was seen posing for a picture with one of Bhaijaan's staff. However, Salman was nowhere to be seen in the photo. The photo went viral in no time and ignited the speculations of Ranbir and Salman's patch-up.

Soon after that, a report in BollywoodLife claimed that it was Alia Bhatt who turned peacemaker between Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan. An insider revealed that the actress is very fond of Bhaijaan, and she took Ranbir to the latter's house for the first time after their fight. Moreover, it was stated that though Salman has always been close to the Kapoor clan, his alleged rivalry with Ranbir changed things for the worst. The source said:
"Alia Bhatt is very fond of Salman Khan and even the superstar admires the actress, it was she who has managed to become the peacemaker between them, well it's not like a dushmani better both the stars but they weren't on talking terms and never visited each other's house, but it is the first time RK went to Salman's house and this is a good change.Salman Khan has been close to Kapoor family since ages, but due to his non cordial relationship with Ranbir there was a wall that was built between them, but over the years they have outgrown the differences."
Recently, a Reddit user shared some screengrabs of the reports about Alia Bhatt being the peacemaker between Ranbir and Salman and strongly reacted to it. The netizen claimed that Alia's PR team tried to throw shade at Katrina Kaif, blaming the latter for the rivalry between the two actors. However, the case is entirely different as Katrina was nowhere in the picture when Salman allegedly thrashed up Ranbir Kapoor.

Soon, many netizens flooded the post's comment section and slammed Alia Bhatt for always taking credit for every good deed. Meanwhile, some also called her out for not leaving a chance to defame other contemporary actresses with the help of her PR. Some social media users also jokingly mentioned that Alia would be the next recipient of the Nobel Prize as she holds the calibre to even stop wars in the world.
