It was Ranbir Kapoor, who had contracted the Coronavirus a few weeks ago and Alia Bhatt had also gotten herself tested. While Alia had tested negative, Ranbir had quarantined himself. Alia had decided to stay in isolation for a while even after testing negative and a few days later, the actress was seen attending her BFF’s wedding and celebrating her birthday with important people of her life. And just when Ranbir Kapoor made his first appearance post recovering from COVID-19, Alia Bhatt tested positive for the deadly virus.

Like every other mother, Alia’s positive report has scared her mother, Soni Razdan. Well, it is obvious for her to be scared of the virus as first it was her future-samdhan, Neetu Kapoor, then her future-damad, Ranbir Kapoor and now her daughter, Alia Bhatt who have been infected by the virus. Taking to her Twitter handle, Soni Razdan expressed her worrisome thoughts. In her tweet, she wrote, "This is no ordinary wave ...it’s everywhere. In our houses, in our hair. I’m getting a bit of a scare. It’s no ordinary wave... it’s everywhere ... don’t know how we shall fare .. how do we begin to care... about so many here and there... it’s everywhere, it’s everywhere." She also responded to the journalist, Rana Ayyub's tweet on how almost every 5th person she knows in Mumbai is testing positive for the virus.

Taking to her IG stories, Riddhima had posted a throwback picture, where we could see Riddhima, her mother, Neetu Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, all smiling for the camera. There is no denying that Alia is a proud momma's girl. She shares a beautiful bond with her mom, Soni Razdan, which is evident on their respective social media handles. Alia Bhatt’s mother, Soni Razdan had posted a stunning picture on her daughter's 28th birthday with a heartfelt wish. Soni had captioned the picture as “‘The art of a people is a true mirror to their minds’ Jawaharlal Nehru. In that case my darling you have a very special mind ... may it bloom and grow forever and may you also always like what you see in the mirror. Happy Birthday Sunshine! Love you to bits and pieces and so much that they don’t have a number for that.” She had also posted an IG story and had written, “Happiest birthday my sweetie pie… no matter how grown up you are, you’ll always be my baby.”

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Alia had shared how much she values her mother and considers her as a superwoman for managing everything in her life. She had revealed, "I feel I am very demanding, as I expect her to take care of everything. I am fortunate to have her around to help me with my finances, diet, schedule and everything else. Every time I ask her for anything, I feel like I am asking for too much, and that I should, too, do something nice for her. I feel I don’t do enough for my mum to make her feel special. Mothers are giving in any case, but in our relationship, she is not just my mother, but also my manager, friend, doctor, therapist, and more. She is a superwoman."
