Alia Bhatt recently talked about her much-loved look at Met Gala 2024 and revealed that she didn't go to washroom for six hours, wearing Sabyasachi Mukherjee's 3D saree.
Alia Bhatt won hearts as she graced the Met Gala 2024 in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree. She looked like a princess as she was decked up in a pastel-toned saree, which had a 23-foot-long trail. The gorgeousness left everyone in awe of her beauty and grace. She did proper justice to the theme, which was The Garden of Time, and looked simply breathtaking. Well, recently, Alia revealed that she couldn't go to the washroom during her Met Gala debut.
Alia Bhatt is recently promoting her upcoming film, Jigra, and for the same, she appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show 2. While being on the show, the actress talked about a lot of aspects. She was also asked about her Met Gala appearance. Talking about the same, Alia mentioned that if someone is wearing a dress like that, they can't even go to the washroom, which she was not able to do for 6 hours during her Met Gala debut. In Alia's words:
"You don’t go to the washroom wearing a dress like that. I didn’t go for six hours.”
Alia Bhatt simply left our jaws dropped on the floor with her Met Gala 2024 look. The actress donned a pastel-toned 3D saree which featured floral embellishments and panel work embedded with sequins. The scallop borders on the saree were decked with small handwoven embroidery, that left the piece stand out in the crowd.
The main attraction was a 23-foot-long trail, that brought a modern twist to Alia's saree, which she wore with a matching blouse with flared sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. Alia opted for a chunky headpiece to deck up her perfectly tied-up messy bun and finalised her look with a pair of classy earrings and a stack of rings. Talking about her pretty saree, Alia revealed that the piece was created by a total of 163 craftsmen, and a total of 1905 man-hours were invested in the making of this saree.
Alia Bhatt recently made her Paris Fashion Week debut. For the day, the gorgeousness slipped into a metallic breastplate. The off-shoulder body-hugging corset was from Gaurav Gupta, and Alia looked simply breathtaking. She teamed the corset with half-fitted flared pants from the label, Misho. Her jewels were also stunning. A pair of silver-hued oversized earrings and a golden pair of rings from the brand, Mara Paris finalised her look.
Alia Bhatt opted for glam makeup, including a glossy base, shimmery eyes with highlighted corners, soft pink eyeshadow, an ample amount of blush, pink lipstick, and gelled-up side parted open hair added stars to her look. Alia aced her ramp walk, and a pair of black block heels were enough to scream modernism in Alia's Sci-fi character-styled look.
