Alia Bhatt lashed out at trolls for claiming that she had botox and other cosmetic procedures and a paralysed face on one side.
Alia Bhatt is the reigning queen of Bollywood. From being the superhit heroine to excelling in her professional and personal life as a mommy of an almost two-year-old daughter, Raha. Alia, just like every other actress, is often the target of trolls for one reason or another. Usually, she keeps her cool about it, but recently, the actress lashed out at the trolls who mocked her and made big claims about her.
Taking to her Instagram stories a few moments back, Alia Bhatt shared notes lashing out at the trolls who claimed that she had gotten Botox and other cosmetic procedures. She called out random videos and articles for ridiculing her 'weird way of speaking' and crooked smile. Alia added:
"Absolutely NO JUDGEMENT towards anyone who chooses cosmetic corrections or surgery-your body, your choice. But wow, this is beyond ridiculous! To the random video floating around literally claiming I've had Botox gone wrong (and to the numerous clickbait articles) - I have a "crooked smile" and a "weird way of speaking," according to YOU."
Alia even said that the claims about her face paralysis are beyond her imagination. She questioned how people could add scientific explanations for such ridiculous claims. The people have zero proof and absolutely nothing to back it up. Alia further added:
"This is your hypercritical, microscopic judgment of a human face. And now you're confidently tossing around "scientific" explanations, claiming I'm paralysed on one side? Are you kidding me? These are SERIOUS claims being casually thrown out there with zero proof, no confirmation, and absolutely nothing to back it up."
Alia added that the saddest part about the claims is that women mostly make these claims, she called them out for tearing other women down when they should be uplifting each other. In Alia's words:
"And the saddest part? A lot of this judgment comes from other women. Whatever happened to "live and let live"? To "everyone has the right to their own choices"? Instead, we've become so accustomed to picking each other apart that it's almost normalised. Meanwhile, just another day of even thorough entertainment with scripts made up by the Internet."
Alia added that it is exhausting for celebrities like her to be judged for everything and even for her baby bump. Getting objectified every single day is not a good feeling, and she urged people to stop as it is very damaging. Alia added:
"Let's take a minute to address the absurd lens through which women are judged and objectified on the internet-our faces, bodies, personal lives, even our bumps (!!!) are up for critique. We should be celebrating individuality, not tearing it apart under a microscope. These types of judgments perpetuate unrealistic standards, making people feel like they're never "enough." It's damaging, and it's exhausting."
