Alia Bhatt made her debut in the film industry in 2012. 7 years have passed since then and going by her popularity, it looks like the entire universe was waiting for Alia to step into the glamour world and the rest, as we say, is all history! New ventures, new films, new characters, Alia is floating high in the pillion of professional and personal success. This reminds us of her dapper debut in the world of music videos, the first one being with The Doorbeens in their latest track, Prada. The song has crossed over 502 million views on YouTube and Alia, as usual, has raised the bar high with her performance.
With a staggering 500+ million views, it won’t be wrong to gauge that the audience has loved Alia Bhatt in her new avatar as well. But there were a few other people too, who have been floored by Alia and one of them is definitely her beau, Ranbir Kapoor! In an interview, the Raazi actress shared her boyfriend, Ranbir, mentor, Karan and singer-rapper, Badshaah’s views on the song and her performance. She stated, “Ranbir loved it. He told me that I have a natural swag. I played it for Karan Johar, he also loved it. I played it for Baadshah and he told me that he was so happy. Badshah said, kya gaana hai yaar!"
The Doorbeen duo is famous for songs like Lamberghini. The singers of the group, Onkar Singh and Gautam Sharma had shared their thoughts on working with Alia Bhatt. They had shared with the IANS, “We were nervous when we were informed that Alia Bhatt would be a part of the song because she is such a big star.” And this is how their thoughts had changed in a jiffy when they met Alia and started working with her. The singers stated, "However when we met her and started working with her, she made us comfortable with her humble and down-to-earth personality.” Further adding, “She motivated us to push our limits and work hard. It was a lifetime experience to work with her." About the song reaching out to a wide mass, they had shared, “With her presence, we feel our song will garner more attention and followers.” (Must Read: Neetu Kapoor Reveals All That She Did To Support Hubby, Rishi Kapoor During His Cancer Treatment)
Coming back to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the duo is working together on Ayan Mukerji’s mammoth project, Brahmastra and we can’t wait to witness the magic of their chemistry sometime soon. The movie was supposed to release this year but has been pushed to 2020, the same year which is speculated to mark some ‘new innings’ in Alia and Ranbir’s personal life. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Ranbir has apparently formally met his ladylove, Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt to ask for his daughter’s hand for marriage! Yes, you read that just right! The report also had it that a few happy tears had apparently been shed when the same was happening.
As much as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have always denied their wedding rumours, reports have been rife that the Kapoor khaandaan is just waiting for Rishi Kapoor’s recovery and for him to come back to India so that Alia and Ranbir’s wedding can take place. In similar lines, don’t you want to know which designer lehenga will Alia don on her special day? As per a SpotboyE report that came sometime back, Alia Bhatt will be a Sabyasachi Mukherjee bride, quite like her contemporaries for her rumoured upcoming 2020 wedding. As per the report, Alia and Ranbir are planning to tie the knot in the first half of next year and has apparently had a meeting too with the ace designer about her wedding attire.
Alia Bhatt in an interview had also revealed her thoughts about tackling a person as ‘difficult’ as Ranbir Kapoor. She had shared, “He’s not difficult. He’s a gem.” She further added, “When I met him for the first time in my life. Again, let me tell you he’s not difficult. He’s a supremely simple person. He’s such a nice human being that I wish I was as good as him. As an actor, as a person, as everything. He’s way better a person than I am. And about getting married? Well, that’s the only thing that’s irritating right now. Every morning I wake up to the news that I’m getting married. I tell him what the hell. I guess he’s used to it.” (Also Read: Niti Taylor's 'Saras Che' Garba Performance With Family On Her Engagement, Channels Inner Gujarati)
