Alia Bhatt Opens Up On Life Being Changed After Motherhood, Reveals Her Excitement For The Future

Alia Bhatt is enjoying one of the best phases of her life at the moment, as she has now become a mom. She reveals how her little one has changed her life completely.

Alia Bhatt is one of the youngest yet supremely talented Bollywood divas of her generation, who has proven her skilled versatility when it comes to her work as well as her personal life. For the unversed, Alia, who is married to the superstar, Ranbir Kapoor is now a mother to their baby girl, whom they have named Raha Kapoor.

As one of Alia’s film, Gangubai Kathiawadi made its way to the panel discussion rounds of Oscars and BAFTA, the gorgeous actress joined in the conversation and put forth some of her observations and opinions. During one such moment, Alia opened up about her motherhood journey so far and revealed how it has evolved her not just as a person, but even as an actor. In her words:

“Motherhood has changed me so much, it’s barely been a month, just over three weeks, but I don’t know about how it’s going to change the way I pick my roles yet because I haven’t gotten to thinking about that.”

Further during the rounds of interaction, Alia was asked about how her new phase of life would affect her film career and if it would change her way of choosing films in future. To this, the Brahmastra actress responded:

“But it’s changed the way I look at everything. I just think my heart is a little bit more open than it was before, I don’t know what change that is going to bring about. But we’ll see. I’m excited to see how that journey pans out."

As it was her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi which became the highlight of the interview, Alia was also asked about her experience of being associated with a prolific director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She was also asked to reveal her takeaways from the character, ‘Gangu’ that she portrayed on screen. Responding to the question, Alia mentioned:

“Her innocence and her vulnerability was intact, despite having to play this very strong role for these women. It’s something that I feel sometimes also gave me a lot of guts, to speak in a big room. I’m constantly told how young I am and it’s always been that way since I started working."
