Alia Bhatt has jaws dropping with her gorgeous look for Paris Fashion Week. Here are all the details about her ensemble from the gleaming metal breastplate to the black 'sharara' pants.
Alia Bhatt seems to have had a jam-packed schedule in September, 2024. From jumping between promotions for her much-anticipated upcoming release Jigra to joining the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a L'Oréal Paris ambassador, Alia has been on quite the hot streak. She knocked off yet another accomplishment with her successful debut at Paris Fashion Week 2024. In a milestone event for Indian cinema and global fashion alike, Alia owned the runway in a stunning Gaurav Gupta creation.
Alia Bhatt stole the show at the Palais Garnier as part of L'Oréal Paris’s iconically themed ‘Walk Your Worth’ show. As she walked the ramp with Andie MacDowell, she turned heads in a futuristic metallic breastplate and black pants out of Gaurav Gupta’s 2024 couture collection labelled ‘Arunodaya’.
Alia was accompanied by another Bollywood diva, the always gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The diverse lineup of international ambassadors also featured popular names like Kendall Jenner, Viola Davis, Simone Ashley, and Eva Longoria, among others.
Alia Bhatt, who was styled by celebrity stylist, Priyanka Kapadia, set the runway ablaze in a feisty number by Gaurav Gupta. The standout feature of the piece was its metal-cast breastplate with a sweetheart neckline, creatively sculpted to resemble a female torso.
The top is strapless with an asymmetric hem and a body-hugging silhouette. So much so, that it looks like it was designed to be a flawless extension of Alia herself. The bust of the breastplate also incorporates metallic embellishments. As revealed by the ace designer Gaurav Gupta, the embellishments resemble intertwining snakes and birds.
To add a bit of contrast to the look, the striking metal breastplate is offset with black sharara trousers. Like the top, the pants had a figure-hugging silhouette around the thighs. However, it flows into a ruffled hem and added a bit of drama to Alia's overall look. While the gleaming silver top gave Alia’s ensemble a futuristic air, the classic black trousers added a retro touch to her look.
Alia finished off her look by donning a pair of high-heeled black peep-toe pumps. With block heels instead of the usual stiletto ones, the shoes added some extra oomph to the ensemble. The actress and mother of one was on top of her accessories game with a very clear vision for her look. She opted for some large, silver chain-link earrings that dangled and a few gold rings, letting the outfit speak for itself.
While Alia went all out with her outfit, she decided to keep her makeup subtle. She opted for mauve-pink lips, blush-toned cheeks, dark eyebrows, pink eyeshadow, and some mascara. However, she added a glam quotient with more than the usual amount of silver glitter at the inner eye corners of her eyes as well as her metallic silver nails. Finally, she let her hair down in soft waves with a side parting to round off the look.
