Alia Bhatt shared how Ram Charan once sent her an elephant for her daughter, Raha Kapoor. She also shared that he had adopted a wild elephant after Raha's name.
Alia Bhatt is enjoying the best phase of her life professionally and personally. Her films are doing excellent at the box office, and her personal life is all rosy, courtesy of a loving husband, Ranbir Kapoor and their cutesy daughter, Raha Kapoor. However, it is Alia's work that has been keeping her sane. During a promotional spree in Hyderabad, Alia shared her relationship with pan India superstar, Ram Charan.
Recently, in an interview with You We Media, Alia talked about her friendship with RRR co-star, Ram Charan. She revealed that the actor had sent her a special gift and it is a funny story. She shared that one month after her baby, Raha's birth, she went out for a walk, and after one hour, when she came back, her staff told her how the elephant had arrived.
Alia was shocked upon hearing the same, and when she enquired, her staff told her that Ram Charna had sent an elephant for her. She literally thought that anything could be possible, and a giant elephant might be walking into her building. She said:
"Somebody came and told me the elephant has come. I was like, elephant has come, what do you mean? They said, Ram Charan sir sent an elephant for you. I said anything is possible. A giant elephant might be walking into my building right now."
Laughing it off, Alia clarified that it was a wooden elephant, which he had sent to her. She called it a sweet gesture and revealed that Ram Charan had even adopted a wild elephant in Raha's name. She was quoted as saying:
"But not a real elephant, it was a wooden elephant. Very sweetly, he had adopted an elephant in the wild in Raha’s name. And it’s such a beautiful thing, we call the (wooden) elephant Elle. And it's such a beautiful thing, we call the (wooden) elephant Elle. It's right next to our dining table. Raha sits and plays on it, it's so thoughtful."
Alia Bhatt, who knows the joy of having a sibling, wants to give the same experience as a gift to her daughter, Raha Kapoor. Recently, in an interview with IMDB's Icons Only, Alia was questioned about her future plans. She clearly stated having more movies not just as an actor but also as a producer. Further, Alia shared that she wants to have more babies, lots of travel, and a quiet life in the midst of nature. She was quoted as saying:
"Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life."
Alia further shared one film of her and Ranbir's that she would like Raha to watch when she grows up. Alia quickly took her first film's name, Student Of The Year, as it is a chill-out film kids could watch.
Well, we loved Ram Charan's thoughtful gift for Raha!
