Once again, the headlines report that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will tie the knot in 2021. Earlier, reportedly Ranbir and Alia had plans to get married in 2020 but due to COVID-19 and the demise of former’s father, Rishi Kapoor, they had decided to take the plunge next year. From the time Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had confirmed their ‘really new’ relationship, speculations have been rife that the Kapoors and Bhatts have already started planning for ‘new innings’ of their lives. So much so that morphed images and fake wedding card of the couple had gone viral on social media. Yes, an invitation card of Ranbir and Alia’s January 2020 engagement had taken the social media by storm earlier this year. The same could be read as "Mrs. Neetu & Mr. Rishi Kapoor cordially invite you for the Sagan Ceremony of their son Ranbir with Aliya (D/o Mrs. Soni & Mr. Mukesh Bhatt on Wednesday, 22th January, 2020 5:00 pm onwards. Venue: Umaid Bhavan Palace Circuit House Rd, Jodhpur, Rajasthan – 342006." (Also Read: Gauahar Khan's Mother Got Emotional On Her 'Chiksa Rasam', The Family Danced Off At 'Dhol' [VIDEOS])

While we are eagerly waiting to see when Alia Bhatt will add the ‘Kapoor’ surname to her name, to everyone’s dispirit, the sagan invitation card was noticed to be a fake one. A closer look made everyone notice the multiple spelling and grammatical errors in the card. To begin with, the spelling of Alia Bhatt’s first name was written as ‘Aliya’, which is wrong. Secondly, Alia is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and not Mukesh Bhatt as the invitation card mentioned. Also, the date was mentioned as ‘22th January’ instead of 22nd January.
