On 'The Great Indian Kapil Show,' Alia Bhatt shared how fatherhood changed Ranbir Kapoor, and he learned to sing a lullaby in Malayalam.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's blue-eyed princess, Raha Kapoor, have won millions of hearts and surpassed her parents' popularity. She is a true blue Kapoor with Rishi Kapoor's blue eyes and her mother, Alia Bhatt's cuteness. While Alia has become more lovable after embracing motherhood, it is Ranbir who changed himself completely for his baby girl, Raha. Once, Ranbir revealed how he wants to live longer for his baby girl, Raha.
Recently, Alia Bhatt appeared on the premiere episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2 to promote her upcoming movie, Jigra. However, during one of the segment, Alia revealed that Ranbir and Raha shares a beautiful bond. They are more like friends and Ranbir keeps inventing new games for their daughter. She said:
''Raha and Ranbir’s relationship is one for the ages. They’re more like friends! He invents some random games with Raha. He’s very adventurous and very creative when it comes to Raha. Watching them is so endearing.''
Further, Alia revealed that Ranbir also learnt to sing lullaby in Malayalam for his daughter, Raha. Talking about the story behind it, Alia revealed that their nurse would sing lullaby to Raha since she was born called 'Unni va-va vo'. She revealed that now, whenever Raha goes to bad, she demands them to sing 'va-vo' to her. Alia said:
"Our nurse has been singing the same lullaby to Raha since she was born called ‘Unni va-va vo’ in Malayalam. So whenever Raha starts approaching bedtime she requests for her lullaby by asking for her ‘Va-Vo’ to be sung to her by her mumma or papa. Now Ranbir has learnt how to sing ‘Unni va-va vo’ in Malayalam just to sing to Raha!"
There is no doubt that Ranbir is a caring father, and with the arrival of his little angel, the Animal actor wants to live each and every moment. In a podcast with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he wants to live a healthy lifestyle, which he wasn't earlier. He shared that he started smoking at the age of 17, but he quit last year. After becoming a father, he realised how unhealthy he had become.
Ranbir also talked about dying at the age of 71 as he was always obsessed with the number '8'. Ranbir said he wanted to be dead by the age of 71, but now feels that 30 years is less, and it's Raha who brought the change in his thinking process. For the unversed, Raha Kapoor was born in November 2021.
