Alia Bhatt, in her speech, thanked her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, for babysitting their daughter, Raha Kapoor, so that she can attend events.
Alia Bhatt is riding high on success with her back-to-back International appearances to receiving awards and whatnot. However, a big credit goes to her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, who makes sure that his wife, Alia Bhatt can complete her professional commitments while he takes care of their six-month-old daughter, Raha Kapoor. Recently, Alia thanked him while receiving an award at an event.
Recently, Alia Bhatt received an award as an Entertainment Leader of The Year. A video of the actress has been making rounds on the internet, wherein she is thanking her husband for babysitting their daughter, Raha at home while she attends an award ceremony. Alia was decked up in a gorgeous crema-coloured pantsuit. In her speech, she said:
"My first love has been the movies, but my biggest blockbuster has been my daughter that came at the end of the year. I most definitely will say that after having a baby my priorities have changed. My first priority will always be my baby. Today I am here, and my husband is babysitting at home, you know. So I have that support. I feel very grateful and proud to say that."

In a YouTube video shared by Vogue, Alia was getting glammed for the Met Gala 2023 event. While getting ready, the actress talked about how difficult it was for her to leave her daughter, Raha at home for four days. She shared that she has been away from Raha for like 24 hours. However, this is the first time that she has been away from her for so long. She was quoted as saying:
"So this is the longest I have been away from my daughter, Raha. And she is almost 6 months now and I have only been away from her for like 24 hours before this, like for one day and now it's almost going to be like 4 days. I get a couple of seconds to video call her as soon as I wake up."
Alia loves sharing snippets of her life with her fans. In a recent interview with Vice.com, Alia revealed that she envies Ranbir because of his saint-like mind. However, she added that he doesn't like her when she angrily raises her voice. She added that the moment her voice reaches a decibel, Ranbir calls it unfair, and advises her to be kind even in anger. Alia was quoted as saying:
"The one thing that immediately puts me in a fit of anger is incompetence. And I have to try very hard to control my anger because my husband does not like (it) when my voice goes above this decibel. Because he thinks it's not fair and it's important to be kind even when you are unhappy."
We are in awe of how supportive Ranbir is as a husband!
