The actress has a program that highlights and works towards the issues of animal and ecological welfare. Not just this, she is a pet lover and has a cat named Edward, who often makes an appearance on Alia’s Instagram handle. Now, Alia Bhatt has added one more member in her family and she is gorgeous.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia Bhatt shared the good news of welcoming a new member in her family. She shared that her girl duo with sister, Shaheen Bhatt has turned into girl trio by welcoming a gorgeous black cat into their life. Alia shared a picture, in which we can see Alia’s cat looking straight into the camera, standing close to it, while Alia is sitting behind her and then there is Shaheen sitting at some distance. Revealing the name of her gorgeous girl, she mentioned all the things her baby girl is capable of. She wrote, “This girl duo just became a girl trio. Meet our new baby Juniper. Her skills include biting, selfie-taking and being generally adorable.” Shaheen Bhatt also took to her Instagram handle to share some cutesy pictures of their cat, Juniper. Sharing two pictures of Juniper, she captioned the first picture as "Got a bitey new flatmate." Shaheen captioned the other image as "Cat, Bat, who can tell." She also reposted Alia Bhatt's picture explaining the meaning of their cat's name, she wrote, "Juniper AKA Junebug." Take a look:
It is a known fact now that Alia had spent her lockdown with boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor and his dogs. Alia’s love for animals is a well-known fact, and June 8, 2020, was no different. Alia Bhatt had taken to her Instagram handle to share two pictures with boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor’s dog. In the first picture, we could see Alia and Ranbir’s English mastiff’s silhouette as Alia had cuddled the dog against the window. In the second picture, we could see Alia hugging the dog, resting the face on his head. She had captioned the picture as “They make everything better.”
Not just Alia, her writer sister, Shaheen Bhatt had also shared a picture with future jiju, Ranbir Kapoor’s dog on her Instagram handle. In the picture, Ranbir’s dog could be seen lying on Shaheen’s lap as she had patted him on his head. The comfort between the two was enough to talk about the tale of them knowing each other for the longest of time.
On March 28, 2020, amidst the news of couple’s breakup, Alia had shut the rumours by sharing some beautiful click’s of Ranbir’s dogs. Alia had decided to show off her photography skills and shared a series of photos featuring beau, Ranbir Kapoor’s dogs, Lionel and Nido and her cat on her Instagram handle. Posting the photo of Ranbir’s English mastiff and a French one, Alia had captioned it as “Time to show off some photography.. Ufff” with a heart emoticon. While, in another post, she had captured one of Ranbir’s dogs and had captioned it, “LOVE!” flaunting her photography skills. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt had shared that it was her big sister, Shaheen, who had started the cat revolution in their house by bringing stray cats at home. She had said, “Shaheen used to rescue stray cats from our building and around, and bring them home. We used to give them up for adoption. Sometimes, we kept them because we got so attached to them.
