On February 8, 2022, for a promotional event, Alia donned a beautiful ivory saree from the shelves of the ace designer, Punit Balana. The saree featured the delicate coin embroidery and resham work on the border. She styled her look with statement earrings.
Subtle makeup with highlighted cheeks, bold red lips, soft eyes and a black bindi completed Alia's look. She left her tresses open and adorned with two red roses that added a pop of colour to her look. While we love Alia's look, it was the price of her saree that left our jaws dropped. The saree is priced for Rs. 37,500 on the designer's website.
Alia always make heads turn with her outfit choices, but there are times when she gets trolled for it too. In November, when Alia Bhatt had attended her best friend, Akanksha Ranjan's sangeet, she had got trolled for her outfit. For the night, Alia had donned a lime green-coloured lehenga. It was the criss-cross design of her choli, which had made netizens troll her. While one user had written, "RIP to traditional attire', the other user had commented, "She is looking like Urfi Javed."
