Alice Kaushik after getting evicted form 'Bigg Boss 18's house talked about her boyfriend, Kanwar Dhillon's stance on refusing to marry her.
Each episode of Bigg Boss 18 is a rollercoaster ride, filled with drama and unexpected twists. Recently, the spotlight was on Alice Kaushik, who had unfortunately been evicted from the house. Soon after her eviction, her boyfriend, Kanwar Dhillon, welcomed her and shared how proud he was of her gameplay in the house. However, Kanwar's previous stance about refusing to marry Alice is still fresh in the fans' minds, and now Alice cleared the air about the same.
For the unversed, Alice in BB18 house shared with the housemates that her boyfriend, Kanwar, approached her with the intention of marriage, not just for time to pass. After the declaration, people bombarded Kanwar with questions about his and Alice's marriage, and he shared that he had no plans of getting married to Alice any time soon. This created a lot of controversy, and people even called him a 'red flag'.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Alice was asked about Kanwar's statements in the media about not wanting to marry her. Alice clarified that it was a misunderstanding and that Kanwar meant something else. Kanwar meant that the duo are not planning to get married anytime soon. In Alice's words:
"I think what he meant was that we are not going to get married right away which I feel the same. When Salman sir asked if I wanted to get married, I said 'No sir, not for next 5 years'. I said no. There was no denial it was just a misunderstanding."
In yet another conversation with Mid-Day, Alice elaborated that the duo had cleared out the misunderstanding, and they are okay now. She further shared that she has complete faith in her and Kanwar's relationship, and the duo has been dating for the past 4 years. They will definitely get married when the time is right. In Alice's words:
"There is no misunderstanding between us. Mujhe aur Kanwar ko apne relationship par bohot zyada bharosa hai and bohot zyada faith hai. The relationship that we have is very strong and, in fact, abhi 4 saal ho jayenge humein is waqt mein, so it's a very strong relationship, and it's not just that we are seeing each other or we are dating."
Kanwar Dhillon's family was taken aback by the rumours of his marriage proposal, as the actor revealed. Their shock at the speculation about his personal life was a clear indication of the impact such rumours can have. Kanwar Dhillon, determined to set the record straight, addressed the over-analysis of his past actions. He highlighted an instance during Ravivaar With Star Parivaar, where a performance was misconstrued as a proposal. He then went on to reassure his fans, saying:
“Arreh nahi bhai, esa koi prposal nahi hai. Ghar par heart attack aa jata sabko. Matlab tension mein aa rahe the rishtedaar, koi shaadi waadi nahi hai.”
