Allu Arjun has found himself in the midst of legal trouble as his surprise visit during a premiere caused a woman's death.
Allu Arjun's arrest came as a shock to the nation. His millions of fans across India are rejoicing the fact that he is back to his popular character of 'Pushpa' in the film, Pushpa 2: The Rise. However, he is facing legal trouble as his recent surprise visit to a theatre in Hyderabad caused a stampede, and a woman lost her life while her son was still in the hospital.
The South superstar, Allu Arjun, has been arrested from his residence in Hyderabad in connection with the tragic death incident at Sandhya Theatre. Allu Arjun was sent to 14-day judicial custody after he was produced in court. However, he got interim bail in the matter. Let us inform you that it all happened after a massive crowd came together during the actor's surprise visit to the theatre.
It raised a serious question about the lack of prior intimation from his team and the theatre's failure to provide an adequate security team for the actor and the people gathered there. However, Allu Arjun's lawyer argued and tried defending the actor by stating that he had neither the intention nor the knowledge that his visit to the Theatre during the screening of the film would lead to a mishap.
The lawyer further defended Allu Arjun by stating that a case of culpable homicide was not applicable to him, but rather, it could be considered negligence on his end. He further cited that his client had no criminal intent, and the woman lost her life due to asphyxiation caused by the huge crowd and not any act by the actor.
A video of Allu Arjun went viral when a couple of police officers surrounded him. In the clip, Allu Arjun was sipping coffee in the parking lot and was conversing with the police head. He looked relaxed and was dressed up in a white-hued hoodie. His wife, Sneha, looked a bit tensed, and Allu Arjun was seen calming her down. In the end, he even kissed her cheeks.
Further in the clip, Allu Arjun expressed discomfort with the way police came inside his bedroom. The pan India star revealed that he requested the officer to let him change his clothes. Instead of one officer standing outside his bedroom, several policemen followed him to his bedroom, thinking that he might escape.
Allu Arjun revealed that he felt extremely uncomfortable to see so many officers outside his bedroom. He further revealed that when his father tried to accompany him to the car, the police asked him to get out, and they gave reason that his presence might trigger further rumours.
Allu Arjun made a surprise visit at the screening of his film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. A woman died as fans pushed each other to get a glimpse of Allu Arjun, which caused a stampede situation. Allu Arjun has been detained under the charges, which include SSection 118(1) and Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
