Aly Goni’s linkup rumours with Jasmin Bhasin had started when the two had participated in the ninth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Jasmin had even visited Aly on the sets of Nach Baliye 9 where he had participated with his ex-girlfriend, Natasa Stankovic. None of them had addressed their relationship and had called them mere speculations. Jasmin had once stated in an interview with India Forums that Aly is her best friend and she had visited the sets of Nach Baliye 9 to support him.
On June 12, 2020, Jasmin Bhasin took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of her home workout. In the video, Jasmin was seen in her workout attire and started the workout with some warmup exercises. As the video progressed, we realised that she was tricking her fans. She eventually takes the blanket and goes off to sleep. Jasmin captioned the video as “My first home workout video, hope it gives you all the motivation that you need.” However, it was her rumoured beau, Aly Goni’s comment that was unmissable. On Jasmin’s video, Aly commented, “Allah maaf kare aise work out se.”
Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin’s dating rumours had gotten the much-needed hype when on June 28, 2019, Aly had posted a heart-warming video of him and Jasmin on her birthday. Last year, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Jasmin was asked whether she is dating Aly. To which, the actress had replied that they are just good friends. She had also shared that during the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Punit Pathak had bonded really well and have maintained their friendship even after the show ended. She had also stated that these rumours don't really affect her equation with Aly as she doesn't pay any heed to it.
On February 25, 2020, Jasmin Bhasin had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a cute picture of herself sharing a laugh with her rumoured beau, Aly Goni. In the picture, we could see Aly Goni looking dapper in an all-black avatar, while Jasmin was looking beautiful in her red hoodie.
