Famous South Indian actress Amala Paul announced her first pregnancy and shared adorable glimpses of the same.
Famous South Indian actress, Amala Paul, who tied the knot with her longtime beau, Jagat Desai last month, left everyone surprised with her pregnancy announcement. Yes, Amala is pregnant, and the couple is celebrating the happy news on their first-month anniversary. For the unversed, Jagat proposed to Amala on her birthday vacation, and it was a most memorable one that is still etched in the hearts of their millions of fans.
On January 3, 2023, Amala took to her Instagram handle and posted pictures with her husband, Jagat. The first picture was an edited photo, wherein Jagat's heart had Amala's photo, while she cradled her baby bump. Amala was decked up in a red-toned coord set, and she looked gorgeous as she posed by the beachside. In another photo, we can see Amala and Jagat cradling the former's baby bump. Along with it, Amala wrote:
"Now I know that 1+1 is 3 with you!"

Amala and Jagat tied the knot in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Kochi on November 5, 2023. For the wedding, Amala was decked up in a lavender-hued lehenga with heavy embellishments all over it. The outfit gave out mermaid vibes, and she looked nothing less than a princess. On the other hand, Jagat picked a matching lavender-hued sherwani.
Talking about Amala's past, she fell in love with the director, AL Vijay while working on the film, Deiva Thirumagal. They tied the knot in Chennai in 2014. However, their relationship hit a rough patch, and in 2016, they filed for divorce, and they were granted the same in 2017. According to reports, Amala and her in-laws had a difference of opinions on her continuing to work in the films.
