Celeb Hairstylist Says Amala Paul Asked Her To Leave Her Vanity Van In Heat, Shares How Tabu Behaved

A celebrity hairstylist shared how South Indian stars don't give value to their makeup artists and hairstylists and revealed how Amala Paul asked her to leave her vanity van in the scorching heat.

The cinema fanatics often have a curiosity to know about the actors and actresses, and how they are in real life. Over the years, several paps and makeup artists revealed some unheard anecdotes about the celebrities, and each time, we got to know about something which was never known before. Earlier, Varinder Chawla had tagged the South stars as 'fake', and now a celebrity hairstylist drew a comparison between the behaviour of a Bollywood actress and a South Indian actress and also revealed that hairstylists and makeup artists are not valued there.

Celebrity hairstylist recalls how Amala Paul's behaviour left her speechless

In an interview with Bollywood Now, celebrity hairstylist, Hema revealed her encounter with South Indian actress, Amala Paul. The hairstylist stated that she didn't know Amala directly and had gone to Chennai to work with the actress via a mutual friend. The stylist revealed that it was during the month of April or May, with scorching heat outside, and there were no trees in the shooting location, so to save themselves from heat, they decided to step into Amala's vanity van for the shade. She said:

"Once I went on a shoot with Amala Paul in Chennai. I didn’t know her directly, I had gone through a friend of mine. It was quite hot when we had gone for the shoot around April or May. It was so hot and not a single tree at the location for shade, so we stepped inside the vanity van.”

Hema added that when she and the makeup man were sitting inside the vanity van, Amala Paul's manager had come and asked them to leave. She said that Amala had told her manager that the vanity van was not for them and they were not allowed to sit in it. Hema said that it was extremely hot outside, but she and the makeup man still had to step out of the van and go outside. Hema added:

"There are two parts in the van, one where the artists sit and other where the technicians are. So when we came and sat inside, Amala told her manager to ask us to leave. ‘Tell them they are not allowed to sit in the vanity van.’ So when the manager told us this, the makeup man and I started to look at each other’s face. We were like ‘where do we go in such hot weather?’ Yet, we had to get out of the van.”

Hema also seemingly took a dig at the South Indian film industry and stated that things might work in this way there, wherein the makeup artist and hairstylist are not allowed to sit inside the actress' vanity van. She also mentioned that makeup artists and hairstylists are not valued in the South.

Hema reveals how Tabu treats her makeup artist and hairstylist

Sharing more about the same, Hema revealed that she was wondering how to introduce herself to these stars and tell them that she has also worked with famous stars like Tabu. Hema mentioned that Tabu treats them very well, and she even booked an entire vanity van for her hairstylist and makeup artist. Sharing that she was speechless, Hema stated:

"I don’t know if that’s how it functions in the South. Maybe they have this rules where hair stylist and makeup artist are not allowed inside the vanity van. They don’t value hair stylists and makeup artists. How do we introduce ourselves to them? How do I tell them that I have worked with stars like Tabu, who treat us so well and book an entire van for hair stylist and makeup artist. I was speechless. This happens a lot in South."

When a pap tagged the South stars as 'fake'

Earlier, in an interview with Hindi Rush, popular pap, Varinder Chawla was asked if the south stars are as humble as they are seen on screen. To this, Varinder added that the south stars are fake, and revealed how Vijay Deverakonda wore slippers during promotions, but he was not humble. He also cited an example of how Mahesh Babu said Bollywood couldn't afford him, and it was a bit full of 'attitude.' Varinder also stated that at least the Bollywood people aren't fake.
