Amala Paul, who is a famous South Indian actress, is all set to give love another chance. Yes, Amala Paul got a dreamy proposal from her longtime beau, Jagat Desai, on her birthday. For the unversed, Amala Paul was earlier married to AL Vijay. However, the couple parted ways after three years of wedding. But Amala is still a believer in the institution of marriage, and it seems like she will be planning her second wedding soon.
On October 26, 2023, Amala celebrated her birthday with Jagat Desai, who left her in awe with his surprise proposal, which he documented in a video and shared on Instagram. In the clip, we can see Jagat dancing with the dancers and later, Amala also joined him. It was the moment when Jagat knelt down to propose to Amala, and she looked super shocked. She accepted his proposal with a kiss.

For the celebration, Amala was decked up in a pink-toned coord set and looked stunning. She kept her look subtle with curly hair. On the other hand, Jagat looked handsome as he was seen donning a white-hued t-shirt and layered it with a yellow-toned jacket. Alongside the video, Jagat wrote:

Talking about Amala's past, she fell in love with the director, AL Vijay while working on the film, Deiva Thirumagal. They tied the knot in Chennai in 2014. However, their relationship hit a rough patch, and in 2016, they filed for divorce, and they were granted the same in 2017. According to reports, Amala and her in-laws had a difference of opinions on her continuing to work in the films.
According to reports, AL Vijay's father, Al Azhagappan accused Dhanush of ruining Amala and Vijay's marriage. He had revealed that Amala had decided to leave the acting world after her wedding, but Dhanush approached the actress with his film, which became the reason for her rift with her ex-husband. But soon, Amala cleared the air and revealed that the divorce was a personal decision and not an influenced one.
