Moreover, it's Parineeti and Diljit's jaw-dropping performance, which also left everyone going gaga. Amid the craze about Amar Singh Chamkila's biopic, we recently stumbled upon a video, wherein the late singer's son, Jaiman can be seen sharing a warm hug with the reel-life Chamkila, i.e., Diljit Dosanjh, and it all things heart-winning.

Taking to their IG handle, a paparazzo handle recently posted a video from the premiere of Netflix's Amar Singh Chamkila, which took place last week. In the video, we can see Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, and Imtiaz Ali being present. Moreover, we can also spot Jaiman Chamkila at the event. Jaiman looked dapper in a white-hued floral shirt, while Diljit opted for a white shirt, which he wore underneath a blue coat and white flared pants. He teamed it with a red turban. Parineeti, on the other hand, looked cute in a black salwar suit.

Diljit Dosanjh met Jaiman Chamkila and shared a warm hug as they met each other

In the video, which went viral, Diljit Dosanjh can be seen folding his hands as he talks to Jaiman Chamkila. He also can be seen chattering with Jaiman, who also gave the actor-singer a hug. There's no denying the fact that such a moment was simply heartwarming.

There's no denying that Imtiaz Ali's directorial Amar Singh Chamkila created a stir on the internet. Moreover, Parineeti and Diljit's outstanding performances won hearts. However, if the reports are to be believed, the actor was paid a double amount than the actress. According to reports, Diljit was paid Rs. 4 crore, while Parineeti bagged a whopping Rs. 2 crore.

Amar Singh Chamkila's personal life

For those who don't know, Amar Singh Chamkila was married to Gurmail Kaur, with whom he has two daughters, Amandeep Kaur and Kamaldeep Kaur. And after that, he fell in love with Amarjot with whom he got married. Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot have a son, Jaiman Chamkila, who is also a singer just like his late parents. In an interview with Cine Punjabi back in 2023, Jaiman stated that he is in touch with his stepmother and stepsisters.

Jaiman Chamkila talked about the possible reason for his parents' assassination

For those who chipped in late, Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot were killed by some unidentified shooter in Mehsampur, Punjab, and the reason behind the same is still yet unknown. While there are three theories behind the same, Jaiman once, in an interview with the TOI, stated that the main reason for his parents' assassination could be the growing jealousy of the other singers towards his father. He also mentioned that Chamkila was asked to perform outside and to perform there only if he wanted to survive, and the late singer also planned to move to the US for six to seven months, but he was killed before that.
