Recently, we got a glimpse of the same as the father-son duo was spotted in India's T20 match against England.
On February 2, 2025, the final match of India Vs England's T20 series was held in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. The match soon turned into a star-studded event as several celebrities arrived to watch the show. Among others, fans spotted Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in the stands watching the watch. The megastar was dressed in a casual white hoodie and black framed glasses. On the other hand, Abhishek showcased his support for the Men in Blue by wearing a team India's blue jersey. Both the actors looked engrossed in the match.
However, it seemed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan didn't join their husbands on the occasion. Apart from them, the camera also spotted businessman, Mukesh Ambani, former UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak and his father-in-law, Narayan Murthy. Moreover, Aamir Khan also arrived to watch the match with his sons, Junaid Khan and Azad, making it a star-studded evening. The night culminated perfectly as India won the match and the series with a 4-1 lead.
A few days ago, Abhishek Bachchan sat down for an interview with CNN-TV18 and discussed how he respects his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He mentioned turning to his parents for guidance and blessings before going to God. The Housefull 3 actor explained that his parents are an important source of strength for him, and he greatly values them. Reacting to his comparisons with her father, Abhishek said:
"If you are comparing me to my father, you are comparing me to the best. Somewhere, I believe that maybe I am worthy of being considered among these great names. I look at it like that. My parents are my parents, my family is my family, my wife is my wife, and I am immensely proud of them."
Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk, but the film failed to perform well at the box office. He will be next seen in Housefull 5, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Nargis Fakhri and more. The actor also has Be Happy and Shah Rukh Khan starrer King in the pipeline.
