Why do we say this yet again? The world caught a glimpse of a similar situation, through an Instagram post shared by one of the ‘dream directors/producers’ of the tinsel town, Karan Johar. In a rare and one-of-a-kind picture shared by the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star, had an amalgamation of one of the biggest celebs in the industry. Superstar Ranbir Kapoor’s housewarming party saw Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar in one frame. He captioned the picture as, “The biggest BLOCKBUSTER ever!!!!!”
While two exes, two rivals, two budding couples were seen in one frame, there were a few names whom Ranbir had apparently missed out and it did not seem to have gone down well with the uninvited ones. The much-awaited release of the year, Thugs of Hindostan’s trailer was unveiled today (September 27, 2018). At the trailer launch, Aamir was asked about the aforementioned legendary picture that has gone viral on social media. When confronted with the same, Amit ji jumped in and answered the question as, “Aur hum sabko bada dukh hai ki humein bulaya nahin gaya. Katrina aur hum yahi baat kar rahe the ki humein demoralise karne se pehle, ye baat bol deni chahiye. Katrina, who was seen giggling throughout the conversation, was asked specifically by a reporter if she was upset. To which the Kamli star kept on smiling and the Shahenshah of Bollywood once again replied with a hilarious answer. He stated, “We all are very upset that we were not called.” He could be further quoted as saying, “Katrina is with me on this. We are depressed that we were not invited to this gathering. Amitabh Bachchan is also busy with the shoot of his latest film, Brahmastra, which also stars the host and an invitee from the party, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Speaking about how it feels to work with the new generation actors, Amit ji was quoted as saying, “The new generation of actors like Alia, Anushka (Sharma), Deepika (Padukone), they are such capable actors, you get scared while working with them, kha hee jayenge (they'll eat me up). They are so brilliant." He had further added, “I am getting an opportunity to work with actors like Alia and Ranbir is just unbelievable.” (Don't Miss! In an interview with PTI, Ranbir too, shared about how it feels to be working with a legendary actor like Amitabh Bachchan. He had revealed, “Amit ji gives so much of love and respect as an actor, it is amazing. It is something I aspire to be. Amit ji has been working for 49 years, he is probably the biggest superstar ever born in the world. But till today, the humility, hard work, passion he shows, it is quite amazing and inspiring for me as a young actor."
