Amitabh Bachchan recently opened up about his and Jaya Bachchan's 51 years of marriage and talked about their glorious progress reports.
Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan tied the knot with Jaya Bachchan on June 3, 1973. They have worked together in many films, including Guddi, Ek Nazar, Bawarchi, Sholay, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Abhimaan, and Chupke Chupke, among others. The duo is blessed with two children, Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Amitabh and Jaya marked their 51st wedding anniversary on June 3, 2024, and received a lot of well wishes and love from their admirers.
Taking to his blog, Amitabh Bachchan thanked his fans for their love and good wishes on his and Jaya Bachchan’s 51st wedding anniversary. He penned a heartfelt note for all their admirers and expressed his humble gratitude for pouring their love on him and Jaya on their special day. Talking about the same, Big B wrote:
“In my most humbling self may I give my love and affection to all that have wished Jaya and Me on our Wedding Anniversary June 3, 2024.”

Amitabh Bachchan also spoke about his children, Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, and called them the glorious progress report of his and Jaya's relationship. He also expressed his eternal gratitude for the love and care the couple has received in their 51 years of togetherness. The actor added:
“51 years of togetherness, 2 progress reports - Shweta & Abhishek and the love and care of all... My eternal gratitude.”
Meanwhile, one of Amitabh Bachchan's fans, Sunil Shah, assembled a grand gathering in New York and revisited the actor's love story with Jaya. The video featured several glimpses of the couple's lives with their children, Abhishek and Shweta, and paid tribute to their family heritage. Addressing the same in his blog, Big B wrote:
“I want to thank Sunil Shah Ef, from Surat, for his wishes .. he went to New York and put up a video wishing us at Times Square .. so grateful .. He has sent T-Shirts as well, which I shall distribute this Sunday.”

In the finale episode of the podcast, What The Hell Navya 2, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shweta Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan opened up about the concept of putting romance in the middle of friendship. Speaking along the same lines, Jaya revealed certain anecdotes from her personal life and shared how her husband, Amitabh Bachchan has always been one of her closest friends. The veteran actress also added that she never hid anything from him as he is her best friend.
