Amitabh Bachchan's throwback picture is creating a buzz on social media for his striking resemblance with his son, Abhishek Bachchan.

For the unversed, Amitabh is an avid social media user as well and often treats his fans with throwback glimpses from his life.
On February 27, 2023, Amitabh Bachchan took to his IG handle and shared an unseen picture of himself. He shared a monochrome photo where he can be seen holding a cup of tea. Sharing the picture along with laughing emojis, he wrote:
"Once upon a very long time ago … !! Tea ??!"

In the picture, Amitabh Bachchan was seen donning a white shirt, a dark suit, and pants. The actor also opted for a striped tie in the picture. Several fans responded in the comment section that he resembled his son Abhishek Bachchan. One user wrote, "Looks like a superstar Abhishek Bachchan", another wrote, "Sir ap hi ya Abhishek Bachchan hai."
Abhishek Bachchan considers Amitabh Bachchan his inspiration and has always said he is his biggest fan. On Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan season 6, Abhishek revealed that it was extremely difficult for him when his father reviewed his performances and gave his views. Talking about the same, he stated:
"It's very difficult. I have never said this, but it is. Because apart from being a co-star, and a son, I'm also his biggest fan. And I genuinely say that. From the bottom of my heart, I believe he is the greatest actor on earth."

On September 12, 2022, Abhishek Bachchan took to his Instagram handle and shared a cutesy 'then and now' collage. The actor expressed joy in surprising his father with a visit on his set. On the left, we can see a childhood picture of Abhishek with his father from his sets. However, it was the current picture, where Big B looked surprised at seeing his son. Along with the collage, the actor penned an emotional note and wrote:
"Some things never change! Well, I guess apart from height and facial hair. Surprise visits to his set will always be one of my most favourite things to do."
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Unnchai in 2022. He will be seen next in Project K alongside Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The versatile actor is also a part of Ganapath, starring actors Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon.
