Born on October 11, 1942, in Allahabad, to Teji Bachchan, a social activist and Harivansh Rai Bachchan, a poet, Inquilaab, who was later named Amitabh Bachchan, became ‘the light that never dies’ for millions. Beginning his career in Bollywood with Saat Hindustani in 1969, no Zanjeer or Deewar became an obstacle enough to stop Amitabh Bachchan from becoming the Shahenshah of the Hindi film industry. Even at the age of 78, he is working with more energy and dedication than most actors in B-town. Abhishek captioned the childhood picture of his ‘Pa’ as “Happy birthday B!!! #theOG #MyHero #78 Love you, Pa.” Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday ended on a perfect note with the most special wish from his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Just before the clock marked a new day, Aishwarya posted pictures from Big B’s birthday celebrations and it was truly worth the wait. Sharing twinning in white pictures with Big B and Aaradhya, Aishwarya captioned the posts as “LOVE YOU ALWAYS DADAJI. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAREST DADAJIIIII” and “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAREST Dadaji-PA. MUCH LOVE, GOOD HEALTH, PEACE AND HAPPINESS ALWAYS... and your Blessings Always.”
Not only from family, Amitabh Bachchan had received heartfelt wishes from celebrated actors of the film industry. Shilpa Shetty Kundra had posted a throwback picture with Big B and her mother in the frame and to wish Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday, she had written, "From being your fan (will always be) to having the privilege of sharing screen space with you. It's been like a surreal experience just knowing you. Your aura and persona still leave me awestruck. Wish you great health, love, and success always. Happy birthday, Amitabh Bachchan. Love you." Ajay Devgn too, had sent wishes to Big B on his birthday and captioning a special picture with him, he had written, “Many happy returns of the day dear Amitji. Last year, on Amitabh Bachchan’s 77th birthday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had posted a beautiful picture of Big B with Aaradhya Bachchan and it had spoken volumes of their grandfather-granddaughter love. Aishwarya had captioned the picture as "Happy 77th Birthday Pa-Dadaji God Bless and Love you Always." In 2018 too, Aishwarya had posted a solo picture of her father-in-law, posing against a well-lit "Happy Birthday" banner, and had captioned it as "May the light keep shining, God bless. Happy birthday pa." Aishwarya had captioned the next picture, which had silhouettes of Big B and Aaradhya, as "Happy 76th Birthday Dadaji."
