Everyone, from Big B to Jaya Bachchan, to Junior B, Aishwarya Rai and little Aaradhya, they together are such strong and loving family. Though every celeb is always under the scanner of their fans and media, there are such few celeb families who reign the headlines.
Well, this time Amitabh Bachchan is in the news. And this time it is because of some reason that has pissed the Twitteratis. Confused as to what we are saying? Let us make it clearer. Actually, on Women's Day i.e March 8, Big B took to Twitter to wish the beautiful day and to the women in his life. He posted lovely pictures of wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda and granddaughters, Navya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. What pissed off Twitter users was that he didn’t post even a single picture of Aishwarya. For this, Twitter users expressed their disappointment and criticised him for discriminating between the women of the family. Here are a few reactions to the tweet:
Also sometime back there were reports that the Bachchan family wasn’t happy with Aishwarya’s bold role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. On the work front, Amitabh ji is all set to hit the silver screen yet again with the release of his movie, 102 Not Out. On the other hand, Aishwarya is busy shooting for her next film, Fanne Khan starred opposite, Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor. In this movie, she will be seen playing the role of a fashionable singer, who deals with the issue of body-shaming.
Regarding her role in the film, she said, “I am a chapter in the film, not the fulcrum. There are other talents in the story and you will see why I chose to do the film once it releases. I am working with Anil for the third time and though I want to call him Anil ji, he insists I call him Anil. He is such a dedicated and ever-charged artiste." A source earlier told a leading daily, “She now has a far more important role than the actress who played her part in the original film. It was always one of the pivotal characters. But now she has been given far more importance in the script than what the original actress got. Aishwarya plays a singer and has four songs which she will sing herself for the first time.”
God knows Amitabh Bachchan genuinely missed out on Aishwarya’s picture or it was an intentional act. Nonetheless, we wish this royal superstar family all the love and luck!
