Amitabh Bachchan Shares Rare Throwback Pic From Abhishek's Birth In Hospital, 'Time Has...'

On the occasion of Abhishek Bachchan's 49th birthday, his father, Amitabh Bachchan, recently shared a rare throwback photo from when the actor was born and kept in an incubator.

Together, they make one of the most loved father-son duos in the industry. Whether it's Amitabh support for his son's new projects or Abhishek expressing his admiration for his father, fans are always left impressed with their bond. Recently, Amitabh shared a cherished memory about his son, Abhishek, giving his fans an interesting surprise.

Amitabh Bachchan shares a rare photo from the day his son, Abhishek, was born 

On February 5, 2025, Abhishek Bachchan is celebrating his 49th birthday. On this special occasion, his father, Amitabh Bachchan, shared a black and white photo from the day Abhishek was born in the hospital on his blog. In the picture, Big B is seen standing in a maternity ward in the hospital near an incubator where Abhishek was kept after being born. They are seen surrounded by nurses, and the megastar penned a special note with his priceless picture. He wrote:

"And tonight shall be a latish night .. Abhishek turns 49 .. and his new year shall be brought in .. February 5, 1976 .. Time has passed rapidly .. !!!!"

Apart from sharing a key piece from his memories, the actor mentioned that he wanted to express his feelings openly but felt that his words might be taken in the wrong context in the digital world. At the same time, Big B highlighted that some feelings should be kept private and remembered personally rather than shared with the world. But, his words reflected his happiness at the occasion. Along with the post, Amitabh shared a recent picture with his son from when they went together to see the India Vs England T20 match in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.

Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he sees his son, Abhishek Bachchan, as his 'friend'

In one of the previous episodes with Kaun Banega Crorepati, one contestant enquired about the bond he shared with his son, Abhishek. In his reply, Amitabh explained that his son, Abhishek, is his friend. He cited an old Indian saying, which states that when a son begins to wear his father's shoes, they should become friends, and since his shoes fit Abhishek, the latter takes his shoes leading a friendly bond between them. Big B revealed that there are often certain things that he only shares with his son, and they can freely talk to each other, which defines their bond. In his words: 

"Whatever I can talk with Abhishek, I cannot discuss that with anyone in the family. And I believe that same happens with Abhishek, too. We both are very freely and frankly with each other. Whatever the situation is, or if any problem arises, we talk to each other. This is our relationship."

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan. He is currently hosting the 16th season of the Kaun Banega Crorepati and has some interesting projects in the pipeline.
