The popular Punjabi singer, Ammy Virk talked about his wedding rumours with television actress, Himanshi Khurana which began in 2019 during her stint in 'Bigg Boss 13'.
The celebrity rumour mill is always churning new linkups and speculated love stories. But some rumours can take away a celebrity's mental peace. And something similar had happened when Punjabi singer and actor, Ammy Virk was dragged into Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Himanshi Khurana's engagement story. Although the matter was resolved after Himanshi had fallen in love with her co-contestant, Asim Riaz, Ammy had never talked about it in the media.
After all these years, Ammy Virk opened up about his wedding reports with Himanshi Khurana and shared details of their viral picture that was speculated to be from their engagement ceremony. Revealing the details, the singer also added that there was never any love angle between him and Himanshi, and they are good friends right from the beginning.

In a candid conversation with RJ Siddharth Kannan, the Punjabi singer, Ammy Virk talked about his wedding rumours with Himanshi Khurana which began in 2019 during her stint in Bigg Boss 13. The '83 actor revealed that the controversy had kick-started with a picture from their magazine photoshoots. In the photo, Himanshi and Ammy were all decked up in their respective traditional ensemble for the photoshoot. However, the picture had gone viral on the internet, and people had started speculating that it was from their intimate engagement ceremony. Recalling the situation, Ammy also added that miscommunication played a big role in this whole incident. He explained:
“Mera kuch tha hi nahi aisa. Ek photo viral hui thi aur Punjab mein miscommunication hui thi, kuch log the jinhone bana di thi, logon ko lagta tha ki meri aur Himanshi ki shaadi hui hai.”
Going further in the conversation, Ammy Virk added that things were still in control, but the moment Himanshi Khurana had entered the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 13, the entire nation had started talking about their wedding rumours. The singer had also revealed that many verified accounts had tagged him on his and Himanshi's wedding reports. He recalled:
“Uske baad Bigg Boss mein chal raha tha kuch masla, kaafi phone-vone aate the, mere bhai ko bhi aaye hai. Blue tick wale Twitter pe tag kar rahe hai mereko.”

At the end of the interview, Ammy Virk revealed that he and Himanshi Khurana had talked about it and had decided to let people speculate about their wedding. The good friends had stitched their lips over the questions around their viral engagement picture for some time. Soon, Himanshi had fallen in love with Asim Riaz inside the BB house, and her wedding rumours with Ammy Virk had ended once and for all.
On July 13, 2021, as Asim Riaz had turned 28, he had decided to celebrate his birthday in a low-key event, in the presence of close friends, and of course, with his ladylove, Himanshi Khurana. Taking to her Twitter handle, Himanshi had shared a candid picture from Asim's birthday celebration and had penned, "Happy birthday @iamrealasim", followed by a hug emoticon. For his birthday, Asim had sported a light coloured tee with white pants and had worn a bandana on his head. Not only that, Himanshi had taken to her IG stories to share glimpses from the intimate birthday celebration.
