Less than 24 hours until it’s officially Diwali time and it is the much-needed festival for all of us as the remedy for 2020. Amrita and the Baby are doing perfectly fine. So much love pouring in... We feel blessed! Thank you. As we complete 11 years of our relationship, couldn't ask for a better gift...” Amrita’s spokesperson was quoted as saying by the PTI, "Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy this morning. Since Amrita Rao and Anmol had received their Diwali gift well in advance, the excited mommy revealed how they will be celebrating the festival as it is their son, Veer’s first. In an interview with The Times of India, when Amrita was asked about their Diwali plans, she retorted, “This Diwali will truly be special with our newborn. The family is all together so our son Veer will be celebrating his first Diwali full Barjatya style with his dada-dadi, nana-nani, his bua and masi and of course his parents.” Summing up her experience as a new mother, Amrita remarked, “A new mother is as newborn as her child. Every minute is a new learning. The headspace currently is a heart full of gratitude to God for the best feeling in the world.” (Also Read: Inaaya Naumi Kemmu's 'Scratch Rangoli' Is A Major Inspiration For DIY Diwali Decor [Picture Inside])
Elaborating on their festival plans and how it will be a cracker-free Diwali with precautions taken at home, Amrita Rao continued, “This Diwali will be at home. We are not sending any gifts nor expecting any because safety comes first, emotions later. We will personally call and wish our dear friends and relatives. There will be no crackers. Diwali is a festival of lights and we will be celebrating it the way it should be minus the crackers with just the diyas and lights.” Revealing if we will get to see little Veer anytime soon, Amrita said, “Well that's a question we both parents might take some time to answer.”
It was on October 13, 2020, when Amrita Rao and Anmol were spotted outside a clinic in Khar and the former was snapped with a baby bump. The then mommy-to-be had looked beautiful as ever in a white top and matching shorts with pregnancy glow and baby bum accentuating her look. Finally, after keeping the news of her pregnancy under the wraps for months, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Amrita had confirmed her pregnancy. A month later, Amrita and Anmol welcomed their firstborn and expressing the feeling of holding their little one for the first time in their arms, the former had said in an interview with ETimes, “I can’t stop staring at my baby’s face and my husband Anmol’s priceless expression of joy. I’m still in a state of wonderment. The phenomenon of giving birth to another human being is unfathomable and divine. There is a God realisation that nothing is in your hands and control. This baby was meant to come this year, so yay… I’m a #2020 mom!” (Also Read: Niti Taylor Celebrates Her First Diwali Party With Her Hubby, Parikshit In Her 'Sasural' [Watch Now])
