British actress and model, Amy Jackson, known for her roles in Indian films, including I, Crakk, and Singh Is Bliing, has entered a new life phase. She recently tied the knot with her long-time beau, Ed Westwick, in a mesmerising white wedding ceremony in Italy. The dreamy setting of the ceremony, held on August 25, 2024, left everyone enchanted. Amy also shared a heartwarming instance that convinced her that Ed is the one for her.
A while ago, Amy Jackson sat for an interview with Galatta India, where the host, Nayandeep, asked her about that one instance when she realised that Ed was the one for her. Hearing this, Amy blushed and said that she distinctly remembered the moment as it was during Easter Sunday, and the duo had gone to a local pub for lunch. Ed's mother also accompanied the duo, and the way Ed treated his mother was a game changer.
Amy shared details and added that Ed was very attentive and caring towards his mother, and this behaviour towards his mother made her like Ed all the more. She explained that the way a man behaves with his mother is a telltale sign of what kind of a human he is. So, for her, that was the moment when she realised that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.
On January 25, 2024, Amy and Ed shared glimpses of their dreamy white wedding in Italy in a collaborative post. The newlyweds looked strikingly gorgeous as they looked straight into the lens after saying their holy vows. For her wedding, Amy donned a voluminous white-hued gown. The dress featured multi-layered detailing on the bottom half and had a fitted bodice with a strapless detailing on the neckline. She completed her bridal look with a sheer veil adorned with intricate floral embroidery.
On the other hand, Ed Westwick, the groom, looked dapper in a black and white tux, which perfectly complemented Amy's wedding OOTD. His outfit, a perfect harmony of black and white, consisted of a white shirt, a white coat, and black trousers, which he put together with a black bow tie. Ed completed his look with gelled-back hair and a subtle base makeup, creating a romantic ensemble with Amy's bridal look.
