In a recent interview, 'An Action Hero' actor, Ayushmann Khurrana recalled the time when he had become arrogant with his close ones after the success of his debut film, 'Vicky Donor'.
Popular actor, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently busy with the promotions of his recently-released film, An Action Hero. In the film, Ayushmann is locking horns with Jaideep Ahlawat, who is playing the antagonist in this action thriller flick. While promoting his film, the actor sat down for a conversation with the famous YouTuber, Sidharth Kannan and talked about the early positive reviews of the film. Not only this, but Ayushmann also talked about his journey as an actor in the Hindi film industry since making his debut back in 2012.
When Sidharth Kannan asked Ayushmann Khurrana about stardom and whether it has ever gone on to his head, answering the same, the handsome actor admitted that after the success of his debut film, Vicky Donor (2012), he had become quite arrogant. Ayushmann admitted that the success and fame had gone on to his head at that time. He also added that he had even shown arrogance to his close ones, who’ve been with him right from the beginning. He said:
"It happened with me when my first film was a hit. It also happened when I won my first reality show but it did not happen professionally. You show your arrogance to your close ones sometimes. In my head, I had arrived."

In the same interview, Ayushmann Khurrana reflected more on the time when success had corrupted his mind completely. However, the actor shared that despite his debut film being such a huge success, soon, people started avoiding working with him. The reason behind it was his consecutive flops, Nautanki Sala, Bewakoofiyaan, Hawaizaada, and more. Finally, in 2015, Ayushmann’s film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha was released, in which he was seen opposite the popular actress, Bhumi Pednekar. The film was directed by Sharat Kataria, and it turned out to be a huge success at the box office. Opening up about the same, Ayushmann said:
"But after my first film, I was not getting work. They were not meeting the benchmark of Vicky Donor, I wasn’t getting those kinds of scripts."
Further in the interview, Ayushmann Khurrana opened up about his film, An Action Hero and admitted that it was a completely different film for him. The actor also heaped praises on his co-star, Jaideep Ahlawat, as they’re receiving a lot of praises for their camaraderie throughout the film. Ayushmann also lauded the director, Anirudh Iyer, who is making his debut as a director in Bollywood with this film. The filmmaker had previously worked as an assistant director in Zero, Tanu Weds Manu, and more.

An Action Hero actor, Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the few celebrities in India, who never shies away from putting their real self in front of the public.
