'Khaala', Anam Mirza taught her nephew, Izhaan Mirza Malik about a strong woman and we believe it deserves a round of applause!
In a world, where the crime against women has reached its peak, it has become important to teach our kids to respect women from a very early age. From rape to harassment to honour killing to whatnot, women have been tortured. In the quest to give the right upbringing to her nephew, Izhaan Mirza Malik, Sania Mirza’s sister, Anam Mirza taught him about a strong woman or how to respect a woman.
When Sania Mirza had welcomed her first child, Izhaan Mirza Malik, it was her sister, Anam Mirza, who was the happiest of all. The proud khaala, Anam had announced the news by sharing a caricature on her IG handle, which had #BabyMirzaMalikIsHere written on it. Anam had captioned it as “It’s a boyyyy!!!! Alhamduilllllaaahhhh!!! @mirzasaniar @realshoaibmalik #babymirzamalik 30.10.18.”

A maasi’s role is not only to pamper her nephew/niece with lots of love and gifts but also to imbibe strong values. Anam Mirza aced her maasi role when she decided to teach her nephew, Izhaan some basics of a strong woman. Taking to her IG handle, Anam shared a Reel, where she can be seen holding Izhaan in her arms and talking about how a strong woman can cry, but will always bounce back to life. She wrote, “Gotta teach ‘em young Strong women never give up” atop it. She captioned it as “Well, let’s say @izhaan.mirzamalik doesn’t want to coorporate to make a reel with me.”
Not just Anam, Izhaan also teaches his khaala a few things. In June 2020, Anam had posted an IG story with her little happiness, Izhaan Mirza Malik in which we could see them walking hand-in-hand. While Anam had sported a black-and-white striped t-shirt with orange pants, Izhaan had looked super-adorable in a mustard coloured t-shirt with a black lower. Captioning her perfect picture with Izhaan as they had spent some quality time, Anam had written, “Teaching me how to take baby steps @izhaanmirzamalik.”

When Izhaan Mirza Malik had turned 1, his khaala, Anam Mirza had penned a beautiful wish for her ‘Izzy baby’ with a picture from his birthday party. Captioning the picture, Anam had written, “You came into our life a year ago and life hasn't been the same. Thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, thank you for teaching us so much patience, thank you for reminding us of all the little blessings of life and thank you for letting us kiss you so much. You're a blessing in every way and beyond. I love you izzy baby, one year of absolute joy. So proud of every baby step (literally) you take.”
When little Izhaan had turned two years old, his khaala, Anam was the first one to wish him. She had posted a video with the little one, which had comprised of their beautiful moments together. The video had Surf Mesa - ILY (I love you baby) (feat. Emilee) playing in the background and she had captioned the post as "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY WHOLE HEART! @izhaan.mirzamalik."
