The 'Every day phenomenal couple' spend weeks and months apart and the different time zone makes it even more difficult. Hence, they often express their love for each other with cute pictures and lovey-dovey posts while they are away from each other.
On September 26, 2019, Anand took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture with his lovely wife, Sonam. Along with it, he wrote a 'miss you' note that can be read as "Miss you more my more gorgeous girlfriend/wife, who is, yes, smarter, kinder and even more stubborn! @sonamkapoor." In an interview with the Cosmopolitan magazine, Sonam had shared that the long-distance hasn't affected her love life with Anand. She had said, "Life hasn't changed much. Of course, I am more in love with him than ever before, but, in terms of work, it's the same. We give each other's work a lot of importance. So, we understand. Besides, we always make it a point to take time out for each other. On days we can't, we have a mutual understanding. The key is effective and clear communication, which we always maintain." The Zoya Factor actress truly believes that distance makes the heart fonder. In an interview with ZoomTV.com, she had stated, "I think the distance definitely makes the heart fonder. I miss him a lot and I think it's important we both work. It's important for our relationship, as partners. I hope one day we find work in the same country (laughs)."
In the same interview, Sonam had revealed Anand's thought when she went straight away to work after their wedding. She had shared, "He made a really sweet comment actually which I thought was very funny because right after the wedding I had to promote Veere Di Wedding and go to Canne. I got married and next, I was flying to Canne and I was promoting Veere Di Wedding. And he just asked me a really simple question like in July, two months after the wedding. He was like, "If I had done the same thing. If I had gone to work straight after the wedding, what would you have done?" I said, "I would've killed you." He's like, "That's sexist!" I was like, "That's really funny." I was like, "How long did you take to think about it?" He says, "Two months.""
