Just a few hours ahead of getting married, Isha Ambani’s Mumbai residence is all decked up with flowers and lights. Finally, the moment has arrived when Isha will tie the knot with the love of her life, Anand Piramal and the excitement of getting a glimpse of their wedding is increasing with each passing second. While we have shared the first look of Isha Ambani’s family including Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Akash Ambani and his fiancée, Shloka Mehta, it’s time for another update from the much-awaited wedding. Tere Ghar Aaya, Maein Aaya Tujhko Lene, Dilke Badle Mein, Dilka Nazrana Dene… the Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye moment has finally arrived for Isha Ambani as the love of her life has arrived in Antilia with the Band Baaja Baaraat. Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani, Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant are all set to welcome the baaraat at the gate. Take a look at the picture and video:
The guests have started arriving at the wedding venue 27-storey house, Antilia and they have decked up in their traditional best avatars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Manish Malhotra, Anil Ambani to Isha’s BFF, Kiara Advani and Aamir Khan-Kiron Rao. (Also Read: Nita-Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Akash-Shloka All Set For Isha Ambani And Anand Piramal's Wedding) A formal announcement regarding Isha and Anand’s wedding was made on October 30, 2018, with a statement which could be read as, "We are delighted to share that the marriage of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will take place in the residence of Shri Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Nita Ambani in Mumbai with family members and close friends on 12th December, 2018. The ceremonies will be performed in accordance with Indian traditions, customs and culture." It could further be read as, "During the weekend prior to the wedding, the Ambani and Piramal families will host their friends and family in Udaipur, where they are partnering with artisans and craftsmens to integrate local culture and traditions into the festivities. Both families seek the blessings and good wishes of everyone for Isha and Anand as they start their journey of togetherness. Nita and Mukesh Ambani Swati and Ajay Piramal". Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding festivities began on December 7 and went on till December 9. On December 7, the Ambani-Piramal clan hosted an ‘Anna Seva’, wherein they are feeding 5100 people, three times a day till December 10. An official statement about the same could be read as, “As a mark of respect and gratitude to the city of Udaipur, and to seek their blessings for the upcoming wedding of their daughter, the family has commenced a special “Anna Seva” - taking up the auspicious task of feeding 5100 people (majority of them with special abilities) three times everyday from 7th to 10th December, to coincide with the pre-wedding functions of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal on 8th & 9th December.” It further stated, “Family members, including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Ajay and Swati Piramal, Isha and Anand were present at this Anna Seva function, serving people and interacting with them. The Anna Seva functions will continue for four days, from 7th to 10th December and will be performed three times a day at the Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur. In addition, the pre-wedding festivities will also see the setting up of a specially curated exhibit called the Swadesh Bazaar that will showcase 108 traditional Indian Crafts and art forms from all different regions of the country for the national and international guests. Presenting the art will be master craftsmen and craftswomen themselves, who are keeping these traditional arts alive. Creating an interesting experience as also an immersion into India’s cultural heritage. Swadesh Bazaar is a unique concept to encourage the craftsmanship of traditional Indian artisans, especially for a lot of indigenous crafts that need conservation and revival and have been supported by Reliance Foundation over the years. The Foundation aims to broaden and deepen its support to the goals of Swadesh Bazaar on a bigger and more sustainable scale in future.” The statement concluded with, “From the rich Kanjeevaram, exclusive Patola, intricate Chikankari to fine Bandhani, exhibits cover over 30 types of textiles and weaves. Depicting folktales and local legends, artists will showcase ancient painting forms like Gond, Madhubani, Phad, Warli and Thangka. Weavers, potters and sculptures from all around the country will make this a mega-celebration of art and culture.
