After Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja and Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi, it seems that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the knot by the end of this year. Such is the case with one of the most famous families of Mumbai- the Ambanis. Yes, reportedly, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani got engaged to Radhika Merchant in May 2018. But later, the report was refuted by a Reliance spokesperson who revealed, “Anant Ambani is not engaged yet”. The reason that everybody thought that the two had gotten engaged was due to the following pic which started doing rounds on Twitter and Instagram:
And now, another pic of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant has gone viral on social media. In the pic, we can see the two looking into each other’s eyes and holding each other. When the news (even though false) of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant getting engaged surfaced online, everyone’s heart brimmed with joy and happiness. For those who do not know, 23-year-old Anant has studied at prestigious Brown University in the US and you must have seen him with his mother, Nita Ambani at various IPL matches, cheering their team, Mumbai Indians. As for Radhika Merchant, she is a 24-year-old graduate in Political Science from the New York University. She did her schooling from Mumbai’s Cathedral and John Connon School and École Mondiale World School before completing her IB Diploma from BD Somani International School.
Mommy, Nita Ambani had earlier told a leading media portal, “Mukesh and I have given very strong foundation to our kids and even larger wings to fly - they have the freedom to take decisions for themselves and of course, choose whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with. Marrying the one you love is gratifying and heart-warming”.
Apart from his engagement rumour to Radhika, Anant has also been in the news for his drastic transformation from being fat to fit. And guess what? Nita Ambani has been the guiding force and motivation behind Anant’s transformation. Regarding the same, she was once quoted as saying, “A child does what his mother does, so I couldn't be seen eating while putting him on a diet. So, I went on a diet along with Anant. Whatever he ate, I ate. Whenever he exercised, I did too. If he went for a walk, I would go along”.
Speaking of the Ambanis, their eldest son, Akash Ambani recently got engaged to Shloka Mehta and June 30, 2018, witnessed a rocking and star-studded engagement bash at their famous residence, Anitila.
