The much-awaited moment has finally arrived as the lovebirds, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got engaged following age-old traditional ceremonies on January 19, 2023. Ever since Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's younger son, Anant's dating rumours with the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO and Vice Chairman of Encore Healthcare and his wife, Shailen Merchant, Radhika surfaced on the internet, the madly-in-love couple was spotted quite a number of times lost in each other's embrace. And undoubtedly, their massive fanbase was waiting for the couple to become each other's forever.
Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani got formally engaged today amidst family, friends and revered traditions at the Ambani residence, 'Antilia'. Their engagement ceremonies began with age-old Gujarati traditions such as the 'Gol Dhana' and 'Chunari Vidhi' followed by ring exchange. Then, following the traditions, Anant's loving sister, Isha Ambani went to the Merchant's residence to invite them and the bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant to the engagement functions organised at the 'Antilia'.

Afterwards, the Merchant family, along with the to-be-Ambani bahu, Radhika Merchant were warmly welcomed at 'Antilia'. Following this, the ceremonies began with Anant and Radhika seeking blessings from Lord Krishna, and the families also performed a Ganesh puja. Then, the reading of the traditional Lagan Patrika or the invitation to the upcoming wedding was performed followed by 'Gol Dhana' and the 'Chunari Vidhi'.
The Ambanis and Merchants also exchanged beautiful gifts, followed by blessings and a surprise dance performance by the Ambani family members led by Nita Ambani. Afterwards, Isha Ambani announced the commencement of her darling brother, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's ring ceremony in front of family and friends and sought their blessings for their upcoming union.

On January 1, 2022, Anant Ambani and his fiance, Radhika Merchant were spotted at the Reliance Jamnagar Township for the new year's celebrations of 2023. A fan page of the Ambanis had shared their stunning glimpses from the same, which were simply unmissable. In the glimpses, Radhika looked pretty in a tank top paired with multi-coloured pants. She completed her look with a messy ponytail and dewy makeup. On the other hand, Anant opted for a blue-hued T-shirt paired with matching pants.
