The much-awaiting wedding festivities of the year have begun. Yes, you read it right, the most anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is beginning with a lot of pomp and show. The duo, who have been head-over-heels in love with one another, had their engagement ceremony in January 2023 at the Ambani residence Antilia in Mumbai.
Since then, everyone has been eagerly waiting for the couple’s big-fat wedding. As Anant and Radhika are all set to take the plunge on July 12, 2024, their pre-wedding ceremonies are scheduled for March 1, March 2 and March 3 in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Born in 1989 in Mumbai, Anjali’s hometown is in Kutch, Gujarat. Elder daughter of Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, Anjali did her schooling at The Cathedral and John Connon School. She later joined Ecole Mondiale World School. After completing her schooling, Anjali pursued her graduation at Babson College with a BSc degree in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management.

After her graduation, Anjali pursued her MBA from the London School of Business. Apart from this, in 2010, Anjali had a Semester at Sea at the University of Virginia. Semester at Sea is a unique study experience that takes place on a 1000-passenger ship and sails to more than 10 countries on each voyage. For her Semester at Sea, Anjali travelled to 12 countries and did projects in Canada, Spain, Morocco, Ghana, China, Japan and many others.
Anjali began her career as an advertising intern at Publicis in the year 2006. In 2009, she interned with Merck. It was in 2012 when Anjali joined her father’s business, Encore Healthcare, as a marketing manager. In 2017, she did an internship at Bayer and in 2021, Anjali took the position of director at Mylon Metals and Encore Healthcare.
Apart from being the director of Mylon Steels and her family business, Anjali co-founded ‘Turn The Campus’, an online marketplace targeting college students and staff. However, it ceased its operations in 2012. In 2018, Anjali co-founded Dryfix, a chain of hair styling and treatment clubs focused on providing specialised hair services. Dryfix has provided services to many B-town celebs like Tabu, Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia Bhatt and a few others.

Talking about Anjali Merchant’s marriage, the young entrepreneur got married to businessman, Aman Majithia in Goa in 2020. Anjali’s husband, Aman Majithia is the founder of Vataly, an online platform for clothes. Anjali Merchant's wedding was attended attended by many popular names from the business, political and glamour world.
Anjali Merchant is very close to her sister, Radhika, and we have often seen them twinning together. During Anjali’s mehendi ceremony, famous mehendi artist, Veena Nagda shared an unseen picture of Anjali and Radhika. In the picture, the Merchant sisters opted for yellow ensembles for the mehendi and looked like a ray of sunshine in coordinated outfits. The doting sisters smiled their hearts out for the lens.
