Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12, 2024, in a big fat Indian wedding. The Ambanis and Merchants are big followers of traditions and culture, and it was clearly visible in how they followed all customs and rituals for their children's weddings. Recently, we got glimpses of the 'Naak Khichai' ritual and how Akash Ambani tried to protect his younger brother, Anant won our hearts.

There is no denying the fact that Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding has taken over all of our social media feeds. The duo's magical royal wedding is no less than a fairytale, and now we have stumbled upon another video about their wedding customs. In the footage, Shaila Merchant is lovingly trying to hold Anant Ambani's nose as a part of the Naak Khichai ceremony.

Akash Ambani tries his best to protect his baby brother, Anant's nose 

For the unversed, the Naak Khichai is a ritual performed by the bride's side of the family as a reminder to the groom to always cherish and respect their daughter. It is a playful ritual, where the groom usually tries to dodge his mother-in-law from holding his nose. As Shaila Merchant was trying to hold Anant's nose, Akash and his friends tried their best to cover the former's nose.

Akash jumped in front of Anant and with his both hands, covered the latter's nose. However, Shaila got through all of them and held Anant's nose. She then fed sweets to her jamai and completed the ceremony.

Radhika Merchant's mom and sister dance on Mithila ka kan kan khila for Anant Ambani

On the wedding day, Radhika Merchant's doting mother, Shaila Merchant, and sister, Anjali Merchant, performed an alluring dance for Anant Ambani. The mother-daughter duo was seen acing the steps of the song, Mithila ka kan kan khila, sung by Maanya Arora. They looked simply surreal, and the happiness on their jamai raja Anant's face was too cute to miss.
