Ananya Panday had an issue with her father, Chunky Panday's, Instagram account, as it was connected to her past.
Ananya Panday is reportedly dating Walker Blanco, an American model. Earlier, she was rumoured to be in a steady relationship with actor Aditya Roy Kapur. Ananya, who is very close to her dad, Chunky Panday, wants him to delete his Instagram account because it is connected to her past relationship.
Fans of AP were heartbroken when they found out that she and Aditya were not together. Now, a video clip has gone viral, where Ananya can be seen having a funny conversation with her dad, Chunky. They discussed general things when she pointed out that her dad's Instagram handle needed to be deleted. She felt it was creating trouble. However, he thought he was not creating trouble and liked pictures where he could see her daughter. Ananya said:
"You on Instagram needs to be deleted because you just keep liking anything without reading it and getting them into more trouble."
According to a source close to ETimes, Ananya and Aditya parted ways in March 2024. The stars then worked on moving on while remaining on cordial terms. The source also mentioned that the couple was going quite well, and the breakup shocked everyone. Ananya was very hurt while Aditya tried to deal with the situation maturely.
In Raj Shamani's podcast, Ananya discussed the importance of friendships in a relationship. The Call Me Bae actress revealed that she had been in a relationship in which she had not changed herself to the point that it turned bad. One does not change at the beginning of a relationship or realise how one changes for the partner. Ananya further discussed the importance of recognising red flags in a relationship and why half-hearted efforts do not work. She felt that one does not get to see a red flag in a relationship immediately, and it takes time to showcase. In her words:
"When you are out of a relationship, at that time, you realise that it could have been done better. If I am in a relationship, I will do everything to figure it out and sort it out. I see the best in people, do my best, and give it my all in a relationship, but I expect that from my partner also. For me, half-heartedness doesn’t work. If you are in a relationship, you have to show loyalty and respect."
Ananya also said that for her, the idea of romance was related to someone who always listened to her. It could be as simple as her partner remembering things and doing it for her. For example, if she liked a bracelet, then he should remember to purchase it for her. He should also be a good listener and remember small things which is important for her.
