In a new interview, Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor's co-star, Rohan Gurbaxani, gave an insight into the challenges faced by both the star kids.
Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor are amongst the most well-known star kids in Bollywood, and fans have always kept a close eye on their journey. These young divas have been childhood best friends but often received criticism online for their privileged background. On one hand, where Ananya has finally gained some success with her recent projects, Shanaya is shooting her debut film after multiple delays. Given fans' curiosity about these star kids, their co-star, Rohan Gurbaxani, recently spilled the beans on their approach towards work.
Ananya Panday is the daughter of actor, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey. She made her debut at the age of 18 with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2, and her considerably easy entry into Bollywood was often questioned by netizens. However, Rohan Gurbaxani, who starred opposite the actress in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, revealed in an interview with News 18 that the actress isn't leading an easy life. He said:
"She is extremely hard-working. She's handling some projects at the same time. She was going for multiple shoots and was still so focused on each scene we were shooting. Someone like her isn't leading an easy life in that sense."
He added that the actress's life is challenging because she has to constantly work towards being at the top of the game. Consequently, she has to work more diligently than others. Rohan admitted that the actress has worked towards it and is trying to establish her identity in the industry.
Shanaya Kapoor is the daughter of actor, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor. She was initially supposed to debut in Bedhadak. However, the project was shelved, and her other projects couldn't materialize. Sharing his opinion on this, Rohan, who worked with the upcoming actress in an advertisement, shared that Kapoor is hungry for the release of her first project since she wants to enter the Hindi film industry. He added that she takes acting seriously and is trying to find her strengths. The actor said:
"Shanaya, you can tell she's hungry for her first project to be released. She is serious about how she takes her craft. She's also learning on set and trying to find her way and her niche in this industry. But then, every actor is trying to do that."
Gurbaxani revealed the similarities between the divas and noted that although Ananya and Shanaya come from filmy backgrounds, they are trying to establish their identities and create an impact. He believes that being from a filmy background can't ensure continued success, and one must work hard every day to make their mark. Rohan mentioned that the actresses are constantly working on improving their work, and particularly Kapoor takes everything more seriously.
Meanwhile, Shanaya Kapoor is all set to debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, co-starring Vikrant Massey, while Ananya Panday will be seen in Chand Mera Dil, co-starring Lakshya.
