The 25-year-old actress was asked about her views on love during the conversation. In her reply, Ananya revealed that she loves being loved. She explained that she is ‘old-school’ regarding love when the new trends of ‘situationship’ and ‘benching' are coming up. Moreover, the actress said she takes inspiration from her father, Chunky Panday, and her mother, Bhavana's love. She was quoted as saying:
"I just love being in love. I love old-school, proper, hardcore belonging to one-person sort of relationships. That’s the way I look at it, but I’m also very non-judgmental of the way people conduct their relationships surrounding me. I don’t understand a lot of it, as you said, the terms. What does it mean?"
The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress was then asked what kind of partner she wants. Ananya explained that she used to have many expectations from her future partner, which has changed over time. However, she wants her partner to be her good friend, just like her parents are. At the same time, she believes respect is essential. In her words:
"I read somewhere that it’s not the way you love someone, but it’s the way when you are fighting with someone. It’s the way you treat someone in a fight." She pointed out that during a fight with one’s partner, one should not feel the end of the world or lose respect for them."
Whether you are an actress or a girl next door, heartbreaks are equally difficult for everyone. Also, it is painful when a relationship comes to an end. So, Ananya shared that she has used her work to escape her heartbreak. She described that her work gives her time away from her feelings for twelve hours when she is shooting. Further, the Call Me Bae actress mentioned that in the past she has often cried in her dressing room over heartbreak. But, the next moment she was called for her scene and felt better.
