Former Miss India, Neha Dhupia and Tiger Zinda Hai actor, Angad Bedi pleasantly surprised everyone with their wedding announcement on May 10, 2018. But ever since they got married in a hush-hush wedding, the speculations arose that the reason behind their sudden wedding might be Neha’s pregnancy. Neha Dhupia’s father, Pradip Dhupia clarified the pregnancy rumours of his daughter in an interview to the Dainik Bhaskar and was quoted as saying, "No, no, there is no such thing at all. Since the two got married early, people are thinking otherwise. But there is no such thing. People will keep talking about things and spread rumours as per their wish.”
And now, at an awards event, when hubby Angad was asked about the conjectures of Neha Dhupia’s pregnancy, he said that he will inform the media and fans whenever it happens. They will tell everyone when they start a family, but as of now, they want to concentrate on their work and buying a home. Check out the video here:
Angad Bedi also talked about the reception that the newly-weds are planning to host for their friends from the industry. Angad shared that he will need to check a date with Neha’s diary to settle on one for the reception. He stated, “Between Neha and me, we know around 1400-1500 people. In order to accommodate all of them, I have to ask Neha for her dates. She’s away travelling; she has taken a trip to Gulmarg. We will plan something when she comes back. Earlier in an interview, Angad talked about having kids and striking his work-life balance now, “I was a commitment-phobic person. I never thought that I will settle down. Marriage has happened beautifully for me. As far as having kids and striking a work-life balance are concerned, I will be able to respond to the situation when I am in it. Angad further continued, “Work is important, but there is a life beyond that. Kids are an extension of you and it is important to raise them well. If that requires sacrifice, even professionally, then we will do it. The happiness of having a child cannot be matched by any number of zeroes on a cheque. So, you got to look at life from that perspective.”
Neha revealed in an interview with the Times Of India that how Angad proposed her, and shared, “Angad didn't propose to me, instead, he went with the rishta to my parents. His mother was not ready to give her nod for the wedding date, till she met me. I met her two days before the wedding and she asked me if I was sure about getting married to him and some other questions, which a to-be mother-in-law would generally ask. As far as his father is concerned, we had got strict instructions from him to keep it low-key or else the press would get a whiff of it and there would be OB vans outside the Gurudwara."
