Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia cheer in joy as their son, Guriq wins a sports championship, keeping up his grandfather, late Bishan Singh Bedi's legacy.
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are one of the most adored couples in Bollywood. The duo never cease a moment to inspire everyone with their companionship and chemistry. Being phenomenal actors in the film industry, they win hearts for always presenting their real self in front of everyone. For the unversed, Neha and Angad tied the knot on May 10, 2018 in an intimate Anand Karaj ceremony. They are blessed with a daughter, Mehr and a son, Guriq.
Taking to their IG handles, proud parents, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi dropped a bunch of photos featuring their baby boy, Guriq. The latter could be seen enthusiastically participating in a sports competition, where he also bagged medals for his exemplary performances. In the pictures, Neha and Angad cheered for their son and soaked in the happiness of his victory. Surely so, the baby boy can be seen keeping up the legacy of his grandfather, late Bishan Singh Bedi with his perseverance and enthusiasm in sports.

Back in October 30, 2023, Angad Bedi took part in the Open International Masters 2023 Athletics Championship held in Dubai. He especially participated in the International Sprinting Championship and ended up bagging a gold medal. After his prestigious win, the actor-cum-sports enthusiast turned emotional as he missed his dear father, late Bishan Singh Bedi. Taking to his IG handle, he penned a heartfelt note dedicating his win to his father and wrote:
“This win is dedicated to my father, he always said that keep your head down and let your actions speak. I have always been deeply inspired by his wisdom. I did this race because that’s what my father would have wanted. It’s my way of honouring him and his legacy. Sportsmanship is in my blood. And I want to do exactly what my father would have expected of me. I did this race, in honour of him and his values that he has instilled in me during his wonderful life. He will always be there with me, as my guiding light. I am also deeply grateful for the guidance and mentorship of Coach Miranda, whose expertise has been instrumental in my progress.”
It was on October 27, 2023, when the legendary cricketer, Bishan Singh Bedi passed away at the age of 77. While the time was exceedingly hard for his immediate family members, they embraced the pain by showing their commitment towards their work first and foremost. Just a few days after his demise, his bahu, Neha Dhupia was seen resuming her work as she hosted the MAMI Film Festival opening night event. But what grabbed everyone’s attention was the way in which the actress wore a black band on her arm, as a gesture of tribute to her father-in-law.

Previously, in an interaction with India Today, Neha Dhupia opened up about her children, Mehr and Guriq. For the unversed, the actress has managed to create a perfect balance between her family life and professional world, especially when it comes to her children. As a result, the doting mommy prefers to keep her children away from the media glare on most occasions. Speaking along the same lines, Neha revealed how she retains the authenticity of a pure childhood for her kids, amidst constant media attention. In her words:
“How long will we be able to keep the kids away from the glare of the media, we don't know. Has the media respected that privacy when it comes to our kids in the past? They definitely have. Has the media protected our kids in the past from the media glare? As much as it would work for them not to, but guess what? They all have. They have all understood and we love that about them."
