Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, aka Angus Cloud, is best known for his role in the American TV series, Euphoria. The show has received praise and criticism for its gritty portrayal of contemporary teenage issues in America, such as drug abuse and sexual assault. Angus played the character of a drug dealer, ‘Fezco’ in the series. Apart from this, he has worked in the films, The Line and North Hollywood and has cameos in the music videos of Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD. He has two projects that are yet to get released.
The 25-year-old American actor, Angus Cloud was found dead on July 31, 2023, at his family home in Oakland, California. The actor's family opened up to TMZ regarding Angus’ death and said it was hard to say goodbye to an incredible human being. They said:
"It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."

According to reports by TMZ, Angus’ mother called 9-1-1 at about 11:30 a.m. on July 31, 2023, claiming her son had a ‘possible overdose’ and did not have a pulse. Oakland PD responded to the call, and he was eventually declared dead on the scene. It is said that Angus was battling severe suicidal thoughts after his father, Conor Hickey passed away a few weeks earlier. The family had just returned from Ireland, where they had laid his father to rest. The family's statement indicated that he was having trouble dealing with his father's death. They said:
"Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”
Angus Cloud’s family also talked about how he was battling mental health issues and was open about it. They said that people struggling with mental health must remember that they are not alone. They said:
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."
Earlier this year, Diomi Cordero, Angus' former manager, accused him of drug addiction. He also claimed that Angus required naloxone administration and CPR following an alleged drug overdose. In addition, Diomi also said that the creator of Euphoria, Sam Levinson urged Angus to ‘fight for his life’.

Angus Cloud was close to his father, Conor Hickey and his sudden demise severely affected him. He took to his Instagram two weeks earlier, i.e., on July 14, 2023, to announce his father's death by posting a photo of him in a red tracksuit. He penned:
“Miss u breh.”
As per reports in Page Six, the late actor, Angus Cloud had cooped up in his Oakland home to cope with the loss of his father. It is still unclear how or why his father died, but his father's death severely affected him.
When Angus Cloud was still a teenager, he fell into a 10-foot-deep construction pit and broke his skull and fingers. He underwent skull surgery to help fuse it back together and spent five days recovering there. In an interview with Variety in 2022, the Euphoria actor opened up about this deadly incident. He said:
“I woke up 12 hours later at the bottom. I was trapped. I eventually climbed out after. It was hella hard to climb out because my skull was broken, but my skin wasn’t, so all the bleeding was internal, pressing up against my brain."
Angus mentioned that he took a bus to his mother, Lisa Cloud Mclaughlin's place, and seeing him in that condition, she thought Angus must be on drugs. He said:
“She thought I was on drugs, ’cause my pupils was hella dilated. I was trying to tell her what happened, but I could only start a sentence — I couldn’t finish it. She gave me some water, and I started throwing up hella mouthfuls of crimson red blood. So then my mama took me to the children’s hospital, and they saved my life. They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull and — shit, sealed me back up, and that was that.”
Angus Cloud gained popularity because of his role in the HBO series, Euphoria. His romantic relationships were frequently in the news in 2022 and 2023. Early in 2022, Maude Apatow, who played ‘Lexi’ in Euphoria, allegedly dated the late actor. They were spotted on several occasions together. But they never confirmed their relationship.
Then, Angus was linked to American actress, Chase Sui Wonders later in 2022. They sparked rumours when the duo collaborated for a photo shoot with Interview Magazine. Fans entertained the notion of a potential romance because the two appeared to be cosy in the pictures. However, by the beginning of 2023, Chase started dating comedian, Pete Davidson.
A model and actress, Sydney Martin was recently linked with Angus Cloud since they posed for PDA-filled images on Instagram. A source close to the duo confirmed their relationship with DeuxMoi.
