It’s just barely a day left for the much-awaited and most talked about weddings of 2018. Yes, it’s of none other than Sonam Kapoor and her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja’s wedding we are mentioning of. The lovebirds are all set to walk down the aisle on May 8, 2018. Yesterday, on May 6, 2018, their mehendi ceremony was held and no doubt, it was the most masti bhari ceremony. Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Kirron Kher and Mohit Marwah amongst others were spotted at the do. The wedding will take place at the Kapoor mansion in Bandra. The house is, of course, all decked up for Sonam’s big day. In one video, we can see Sonam and her mother Sunita Kapoor shake their legs on Arjun Kapoor's Hawa Hawa song. While a lot of pics and videos are pouring in time to time, one video of Anil Ji dancing like crazy is stealing the show. After the wedding on May 8, 2018, a fun and star-studded reception is going to take place in the evening. And today, on May 7, 2018, Sonam and Anand’s sangeet will commence from 4 PM. There will be dance performances on this function for which Farah Khan's team has choreographed. Not just this, bride-to-be Sonam’s special performance is also expected to happen. As per the reports, papa Anil Kapoor will be shaking his legs on the iconic songs, My Name is Lakhan and Gallan Goodiyan from one of his movies Dil Dhadakne Do. Talking about the same, a source close to the family informed Filmfare, “Anil is ecstatic about his performance on Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. He will perform on two of his favourite numbers – Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do, and My Name is Lakhan from Ram Lakhan. It will be more fun because Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher will also be joining Anil.”
Sonam and Anand dated each other for two years before deciding on forever. The actress has been tight-lipped about it all this while. Earlier, when she was questioned about her PDA on social media, she was quoted as saying, “Social media is in my control. I am not going to disrespect this person and be like that he doesn't exist in my life. At the same time, I am not going to disrespect that person by speaking about him and other people interpreting in a different way. So, I will not talk about it or hide it." She further added, “It's a rule basically Anand has put on both of us.
