The critically-acclaimed director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, announced that he will be making a film titled, Animal with Ranbir Kapoor back in December 2020. After a series of developments, finally, on November 23, 2023, Animal's trailer was released on T-Series' official YouTube channel. Within the first 21 hours of its release, Animal's trailer has garnered more than 49 million views and 881K likes, leaving film fanatics of all generations across the globe absolutely bonkers.

At a time when filmmakers try to keep the film's trailer short and crisp with the fear of not revealing the story, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has proved the mettle of his craft as Animal's trailer is 3 minutes 33 seconds long and even then, the mystery around the characters and story is still intact.

Animal movie's trailer: Things that everyone loved in Sandeep Vanga's 3 minute 33 seconds ride filled with violence and emotions

Several film critics, YouTubers, and film lovers have reacted to or reviewed Animal's trailer, and certain things have caught almost everyone's attention. The first and foremost is the opening scene of Animal's trailer in which Ranbir Kapoor (Arjun Balbir Singh) can be seen shouting at his on-screen father, Anil Kapoor (Balbir Singh), saying, "Sunai dera hain, behra nahin hu main," has sent chills down to everyone's spine.

From Ranbir Kapoor's intense dialogue, "Sunai dera hain, behra nahin hu main," starting a meme fest on the internet to Bobby Deol winning everyone's hearts with his look, Animal has the potential to be one of the highest-grossing films of this year.

Besides Ranbir and Bobby leading the line, the film also features a series of A-listed senior actors like Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi and others. The film also features Qala actress, Tripti Dimri, whose little glimpse in the trailer has excited her massive fanbase.

Ranbir Kapoor's Rs. 70 crore fee for Animal compared to Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor's respective salaries

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, Animal was reportedly made on a budget of around Rs. 100 crores. A big part of the film's budget was spent on assembling the film's stellar star cast. According to a report in Siasat, the film's lead, Ranbir Kapoor took home the hefty fee of Rs. 70 crores. However, back in October 2023, reports were rife that he had cut down his Rs. 70 crore fee to just Rs. 35 crore. However, there's yet to be an official statement about the same.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor's mammoth fee, the film's alleged antagonist, Bobby Deol, received Rs. 4-5 crores for Animal, an amount that is 14 times less. Moving forward to other cast members, Rashmika Mandanna charged Rs. 4 crores, while Anil Kapoor received a sum of Rs. 2 crores for the film.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 3 hours and 21 minutes long film, Animal, gets 'A Certificate'; people call it A-rated Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

The film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has also revealed that Animal has received an 'A' Certificate from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). Apart from the film's violence, Ranbir choking his on-screen wife, Rashmika Mandanna (Geetanjali Singh), has also raised many eyebrows, as people are calling Animal 100 times more hyper-violent than Kabir Singh. As soon as the film's rating was revealed, several netizens started joking about it, saying Sandeep Vanga's Animal is an A-rated Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
