Anju Joseph is a well-known name, or rather, voice in the world of Malayalam cinema. The talented playback singer first gained recognition when she melodiously crooned in the tracks of the 2011 Malayalam release, Doctor Love. Well, Anju dropped some major news on November 30, 2024, when she announced that she had given love a second chance, tying the knot with Aditya Parameswaran. The occasion was a joyous one, not just for Anju and Aditya but also for their loved ones and the former's many fans.
Malayali playback singer, Anju Joseph took to her Instagram handle on Saturday, November 30, to share some exciting news. She revealed that she had found love for a second time in Aditya Parameswaran, and the adorable pair tied the knot today. Anju and Aditya had a simple court marriage at the Alappuzha Registrar Office.
The singer's post announcing the news included a picture of Anju and Aditya holding hands as they stood outside the registrar's office. In it, the couple was dressed in traditional South Indian attire and perfectly matched each other. Anju opted for a classy white Kasavu saree with a golden zari border and motifs in the same shade. Aditya complemented her in a light-coloured kurta with subtle, intricate patterns and a white veshti with a golden border.
After tying the knot, Anju and Aditya celebrated with friends and close relatives in an intimate wedding reception. Anju's wedding post also included a simple but sweet caption that read:
"My hopes and dreams for the future."
For the unversed, this is Anju Joseph's second shot at love after her first attempt at finding her forever failed. The singer was previously hitched to Anoop Jogn, the director of the reality show, Star Magic, which airs on the Malayalam-language TV channel, Flower. However, the couple's relationship eventually came to an end, with Anju informing her followers about the same herself via a candid video on social media. Earlier, the singer had opened up about her first marriage leaving a traumatic impression on her. She also indicated that she had embarked on a journey of healing following the same.
Needless to say, fans and colleagues of Anju Joseph were overjoyed to hear the news and flooded her comment section with well-wishes. Talk show host, Dhanya Varma wrote, "Congratulations..this is amazing news," while TV actress, Aswathy Sreekanth simply dropped three red hearts in the comment box. Fans, too, filled the comment section with variations of 'congratulations' along with plenty of red heart and heart-eyed emojis.
For the unversed, Anju Joseph was the third runner-up on the show, Gandharva Sangeetham. Her career in Indian cinema began with films like Doctor Love, Alameda, Avarude Raavukal, Ormakalil Oru Manjukaalam, and C/O Saira Banu. Her popularity skyrocketed further when released an acapella version of the beloved Baahubali track, Dheewara, in 2016.
