For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput had met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta and had dated for six years, before calling it quit in 2016. But even after the breakup, Sushant had always wished well for Ankita and vice versa. Ankita was utterly devastated with the news of Sushant's untimely demise and has been standing like a pillar of support with his family ever since.
Ankita Lokhande took to her Twitter handle and lashed out at a fan, who had posted videos of Sushant's dead body. Quoting the tweet, she wrote, "What's wrong with you. Stop posting such videos they are very disturbing for all of us .its a request to remove this video rite now .. we know u love him but this isn't the way to show ur support or love to him. Remove this video rite now!!" Check out her tweet below:
On Sushant's three-month death anniversary, Ankita Lokhande had participated in the global campaign for SSR and had talked about how people may go away, but some memories never fade. She had written, "Time flies fast . Life goes on at its own pace But some memories can never be forgotten of our dearest ones. You will always remain in our thoughts Sushant . #Justice4SSRIsGlobalDemand #itsalready3monthstoday. @shwetasinghkirt @vikirti @jainvick."
Participating in the global '#PlantForSSR' campaign, Ankita Lokhande had posted pictures of herself planting saplings with her pooch and had written, "Hatchi and mamma. My partner in almost everything. Planting plants. It's our way to remember him by fulfilling his dream #plants4SSR. @shwetasinghkirt @jainvick @vikirti @_mallika_singh." In an interview with Republic TV, Ankita Lokhande had opened up about claims that Sushant Singh Rajput was suffering from depression. She had said that Sushant could not have been 'depressed'. In her words, "Sushant was not the guy who could commit suicide. We have seen worse situations when we were together. He was a happy-go-lucky guy. He found happiness in small things. He wanted to do farming, I know this for sure... he told me agar kuch nai hua to main apni short film bana lunga (if nothing else works out, I will make a short film). He was not a depressed guy, not at all. I don't know what the situation was... but I will keep repeating this. I don't want people to remember him as a depressed guy, he was a hero. He was an inspiration."
When Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande had broken up back in 2016, their fans, friends and family were utterly surprised as it was very unexpected. Ankita Lokhande's friend and popular television actress, Rashmi Desai had some days ago, spoken up on the same, expressing her thoughts in a long letter. Addressing the people, who were maligning Ankita's image, she had written, "It was Sushant's decision, he wanted to opt-out of it for whatever reason or situation; obviously, it is very personal. Ankita and Sushant have been supporting each other even after their breakup also. And, today so-called people are claiming, who don't even know Sushant or the entire situation or even about Rhea are putting her into a bad light. I have no idea what is the reason and why? But whatever I see in the media is becoming very toxic for me as the right news is not reaching any of us."
