Ankita Lokhande's husband, Vicky Jain revealed that he has been staying at his wife's home as 'ghar jamai' for the past two years. Read on to know more!
Television actress, Ankita Lokhande is finally living the life of her dreams. She is professionally at her best and personally, she is enjoying being married to the love of her life, Vicky Jain. Her happiness and the glow of being the new bride is still clearly visible. Recently, in a media interaction, the couple talked about buying a home in which they have not yet shifted and their future plans.
On December 14, 2021, Ankita and Vicky had tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. On the night of her grand wedding ceremony, Ankita had shared jaw-dropping pictures from her wedding ceremony. The gorgeousness had donned a beautiful golden lehenga with uncut polki jewellery. Her look was accentuated with her magnificent golden dupatta. On the other hand, Vicky had opted for a cream-coloured sherwani.

Recently, in an interview with ETimes, Ankita and Vicky talked about moving into their new home. Vicky revealed that they have not yet moved into their new home as the renovation work was not finished on time. He further added that he has been living at his wife, Ankita's place as ghar jamai. Vicky also jokingly added that he has been sharing not just Ankita's bedroom but also her cupboard. He said:
"We had bought a flat and the repairing work, renovation and everything couldn’t be completed on time because of the pandemic. It got delayed and is still pending so we couldn’t shift to our new house. I am still staying as a ‘ghar jamai’ at Ankita’s place (laughs). Whenever I visit Mumbai I’ve been staying at Ankita’s house. So this question should be asked to Ankita about how she feels because she has been sharing her house, her cupboard with me for the last two years."
To this, Ankita said that she believes that their married life as a couple will start once they shift into their new home. The actress shared that she is going to be an amazing housewife, and is looking forward to living under one roof as a couple with Vicky in their new home. She also added that she doesn't have any problem sharing her life and her stuff with Vicky.
Ankita often posts glimpses of her sasural on Instagram handle. A while ago, Ankita had shared glimpses of how her mother-in-law and her sister-in-law had welcomed her at their home in Bilaspur. In the video, we could see her mother-in-law gifting Ankita a saree. In the pictures, Ankita was seen posing with the two special ladies of her life. Alongside it, she had written:
"Mamma and bhabhi thank you for making this trip to Bilaspur so memorable."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ankita and Vicky are currently seen on the reality show, Smart Jodi!
