Anu Aggarwal created a frenzy in Bollywood with her memorable debut in Aashiqui, a romantic musical blockbuster that made the model a star overnight. Although Anu was not the traditional Bollywood beauty, her rawness provided a breath of fresh air to both the screen and the film industry. The guy she told us about is neither from the industry nor does he stay in India. Though she didn't reveal the identity of her partner and guarded the secret, Anu stated:
"Well, we were in a live-in before Aashiqui. Netizens believe that he's the same guy from years ago. Anu further said that they had That on and off again, but it's much stronger now - We have a great connection."
It was in 1999, following a party in Mumbai, the sober 30-year-old Anu got in a serious car accident on her way home. Anu sustained many fractures and ended up in a coma for 29 days. When she woke up, her past life was little more than a distant memory. Half of Anu's body was paralyzed, and she experienced a long recovery process that took multiple years. After this traumatic occurrence, she decided to lead a monastic life and began her path with the learning of yoga. Currently, the actress runs a foundation for mental health. Her journey is very captivating and inspiring. She stood out in an industry that was dominated by fair-skin supremacy.
